We have three flood threats where I live right now - we'll see how it goes.

Nothing bad right this second, but around the corner from my house folks have water coming up out of the ground, its really weird.

Our water table is too high in my subdivision

LOL, Nope. The old beetles were so well made, they would float. I found out about that when a bunch of us in college took a professors 73 beetle and towed it out to the middle of a lake. The damn think floated and was there the next day when the professor got the local PD to tow it back in.

My sump pump was alarming for high temps, meaning it had been running non-stop for more than 80 hours. The backup pump even kicked in a few times.

Not a very clear shot... hard to photograph a black mod and not get tons of reflections, esp. when it's one as shiny as this. Had to sacrifice some clarity to cut down on reflections.

In the small stand under the table is my flavor concentrates, syringes, empty bottles and other lab supplies.

We have PO boxes only here.

What those lazy govt. fucks do is scan the packages as delivered but don't actually put them in your box. They leave them in a cart for days on end in the back of the PO until someone feels like putting it in your PO box.

I'm FURIOUS. My husband stayed late in town to check the box because I knew they had it.

Yes I have the gloves, the black comfy ones. They are in the bottom drawer of the cabinet under the table. I didn't leave them out because I don't want them to get dusty or anything.

Go up to the window with your cell phone , show them that and tell them to give you your fuckin package. I've had to do that a ton of times.
