Rda vs RTA or rdta

Can anybody tell me if the RTA or rdtas have as good of flavor performance as an rda? I hate trying to drip when I'm in the car. But sub ohm tanks just don't do it for me. Especially cause of coils.. like the crown. Best flavor on a tank in my opinion.. but the coils are inconsistent.so I thought maybe the rebuild able tanks might be worth a shot

I never thought I could abandon my RDAs, but the Crown and TFV4 were both close enough for me. What really hits spot-on, IMHO, is Augvape RTAs like the Alleria and Boreas - I've had my Boreas for a week or so and it's every bit as good as RDAs were at 50-60 watts, only needs 1-2 fillups a day, and no harder to build than an RDA - the tricky wicks of RTAs were what held me up for so long getting into rebuildable tanks, now I regret waiting so long...

New generation of RDTAs is just as good as RDAs when it comes to flavor. My favorite is Limitless by Ijoy, but you should look into Avocado as well since a lots of people like it. Limitless reminds me more of RDA then Avocado does when it comes to performance and building. It is an unbelievable atty that can be had for very little money

Genesis style RTA are the closest thing to a dripper, plus you can still drip on it if you want to
It's very simple
If you want flavor , stay As close you are to the COILS...
Just saying

Rdta's will get you real close to the dripping experience. Right now it seems the consensus is the 2 best are the Avocado and the Limitless. I have both and I like the Avocado better. It just seems to be built better and more refined. The Limitless is real nice as well but the it has a tinny feel to it. They are very close. The Limitless comes apart easier because there is no need to take out the 510 pin. Both are extremely easy to build and wick. As far a Rta's go my personal favorites are the Boreas and Merlin. Boreas has very good flavor and clouds. Merlin has great flavor and OK clouds. Everyone loves the Aromamizer Supreme I don't have one but I plan on getting one real soon.

I get pretty dang good flavor out of my moonshot but its a total pain in the ass to build
Moonshot is only other RDTA that I use every day besides limitless. Limitless is great but it has tendency to leak if left on its side for long periods of time in hot environment (my truck). Moonshot is hard to build on it if you don't lock the deck with provided hex key. Flavor is just as good as RDAs or Limitless, and to me it is completely leak proof under any conditions.

I find the moonshot really balances flavors out in my juices, allowing for a surprising degree of nuance. Though, I feel it loses sheer intensity in the process.

That build deck though.. I have yet to find a method that isn't a total pain in the ass. I really don't like building on it. So much so that I find myself just not using it regardless of its other qualities.

I probably like my serpent mini and goblin mini v2 best out of my tanks. I'm completely in love with the latters drip tip, and find myself using it on anything I can, even if it looks awful.

I really enjoy my aromamizer rdta v2, but it eats too much juice for me to use it too often.

In the end though, I usually find myself using the derringer clone. I just don't get the flavor I want from the others, and I change flavors constantly. I just don't find that the tanks give me what I want, though some get close.

If I had to drive around a lot, id probably look into squonking.

I'll trade you SS Serpent mini for your Moonshot.

Ok, so I'm loving my Goon RDA. FLAVOR FOR DAYS! Haven't even opened my Tsunami yet... I did open and use my Crius Plus and I'm happy with it too.

Next, I'm looking to purchase another RDA and another RTA or RDTA. The Kennedy V5 RDA but a little concerned it doesn't allow the airflow to be adjusted... Any thoughts? Good alternatives? or will it be just fine? I like to adjust the airflow on my Goon, better flavor when it's a bit restricted.

Anywho, I am also thinking about Smok's TFRDTA and the Kayfun 5. Is the Serpent Mini a good one for flavor? I have a TFV4 Mini, already. Just haven't used it, yet. Please, share your thoughts/recommendations!

I dig my serpent mini. My only issue is that using 26g and smaller wire can be a bit tricky when trapping the wire in the posts. For some reason, they machined it so that there is a decent gap under the grub screw..

I like my goblin mini v2 more for flavor. BUT, when that little bastard decides to leak, its like doomsday. And because the air flow is on the bottom, it can take a bit to realize its even happening. One time, I didn't even notice until juice was seeping out the fire button on my mod.:gaah: Like I said earlier, I really dig the drip tip (glass with some heat fins).

Overall, I try looking for a chimney that narrows down nicely for good flavor. Getting close to the coils can help too. The SXK wine looks pretty darn good in this respect, but I have yet to try it.
