Headaches, nauseous. New

Hey guys I just got into vaping last week. I chewed tobacco for about 5 years and smoking anywhere from 10 cigs to a pack of smokes a day for last 15 years. Im 32 year old male in good health.
I recently just bought the Mini Volt to make the transition. Haven't smoked or chewed since the second I bought it.
First few days were great, felt great, was smoking 6mg Steak Sauce and felt fine. Then I bought some 3mg TDK Tutti Frutti and this is when the problems started.
A week in now, been getting what feel like tension headaches, upset stomach, had diarrhea today. Not sure if I am sick or what, but I feel like vaping is doing it to me since I get these headaches minutes after taking a few vapes. Im not really chain smoking. I drink a ton of water.
Yesterday I bought the Sigelei 213 with a Smok TFV8 tank(yes I know its a little to advanced for me but I wanted something with an all day battery). I can smoke all morning but around 3pm I start getting tension headache and nauseous and when I wake up the next day I feel fine.
I smoke the Mini Volt on about 30watts and the Sigelei on 60-75 watts.
Is this a normal thing for a new vapor? Or am I over doing it and getting nicotine sick? I figured I was taking in a lot of nicotine these last few years and I thought 3mg would be low for me.
Ive read a million forums but everything I read seems to be from years ago
Any input would be greatly appreciated, as the last thing I want to do is go back on dip and cigs. If this is something I just have to go through, then so be it, I will go through it

Could be the Tutti Fruti does not agree with your system. You might be allergic to it. Try another juice and cut back the big clouds for a bit and see what happens.

All those symptoms are a sign of Nicotine overdose!!!!

BTW, welcome to VU!

How is that possible though? Smokes and dip have way more nicotine in it and Im barely hitting the vapo. Maybe nicotine withdrawal? I dunno, im paranoid right now and it sucks. Thanks

Are you mainly using the TFV8? What coil are you using? How often do you vape, and how many drags do you take?

The stages of Nicotine overdose usually are
1. Headache
2. Nausea (possibly even throwing up)
3. ....

I usually stop before reaching 3.

Last 2 days mainly using the TFV8 using the Q4 coil. Today I take a 2-3 drags every 20 minutes id say at about 60 watts. I shouldn't have gone so aggressive lol and bought this one. Appreciate you helping me out.
Its been weird. Even with the Mini Volt, I was fine smoking Prime Steak Sauce for the first 5 days, chain vaping too at 6mg. Then I bought TDK Tutti Frutti 3MG and ever since then its been giving me a headache. Planning on not using the TDK for a few days even though I don't think its the culprit

So what you suggest, just stop or take way longer breaks between?
Im not even close to throwing up. The nausea was only there for a little bit. Wasn't bad

If it's making you feel green (queasy), then I'd say it's too high of a nic level. Since you say that 6mg was fine but then 3mg in same gear wasn't, did you hit it harder and more often after switching to 3mg? If no, then I'd say an ingredient is most likely the problem.

The diarrhea could simply be a symptom from the switch (though it can be a side effect from too much nic). Your body can freak out from the switch because there's lots of chemicals (for taste, preservative, and to encourage addiction) that are added to tobacco that you're suddenly no longer getting. Headaches could also be from the withdrawal. Upset stomach - if by upset you mean green, then it's too much nic. Otherwise, I'd say it's simply your body adjusting. I used to get heartburn quite a bit when I first switched to vaping. I also had diarrhea and headaches from the withdrawal from the assorted chemicals the tobacco companies put in cigarettes.

I know that's not much of an answer, but if the 6mg was fine, and you're using the same equipment and vaping about the same with the 3mg, then it's gotta either be an ingredient that doesn't agree with you or withdrawal from the assorted chemicals the tobacco companies use to keep you hooked on their poison.

okay, nausea, especially short lived, is a sign of too much nic. I'd suggest either a lower nic or not taking as heavy of drags and not as frequently.

Edit to add - it could also be that the 6mg wasn't actually 6mg and the 3mg isn't a true 3mg. Many times the nic amount in eliquid is wrong. I've had some storebought eliquid be way low on the nic and some be way higher than it was supposed to be.

The TFV8 with that coil produces much more vapor than your previous atomizer. Therefore, you also get much more Nicotine. If I were you, I just stop vaping for maybe one hour at the first sign of a headache.

BTW, it's not "smoking", but "vaping".

I've experimented on how much my body could take the nicotine. I've had headaches, dizziness, but never diarrhea. That was vaping with 48 mg.

Now, I've had flavorings that didn't agree with my system. Symptoms were headaches, dizziness, constipation, nausea, and the shits for days.

Everybody is different. I can only add what I've been through. Good luck and hope you figure it out.

Same some flavors gives me tension headaches, and the shits also.
The dizziness not so much, constipated since feb and nausea all day every day.

OP drink more water also.

Yep. I've had flavorings that made me feel I was on serious drugs. I even called the vendor to take it off the shelves Lol
I'm getting older. I've abused my body from 15- 40 years. I have to drink my daily fiber at bedtime. Helps me a lot.

Thanks guys for everything. My bro is a pretty experienced and he suggest also that its my body adjusting after years and years of tobacco. But tomorrow I am going to buy some 1.5mg and see what happens .
I have a hard time believing its an overdose but guess you never know.
The Diarrhea could of been from anything. I got it when I woke up in the morning after having some Burger King the night before, so could of been it.
The Nausea only came for like an hour today but wasn't even close to throwing up or anything like that. Keep you guys updated on how it goes. Going to drop down to 1.5mg. It sucks sitting here not being able to hit my vapo. So id rather go lower and be able to chain vape. Just hope this shit passes as it is frustrating when you work all day having a headache.

When I started vaping, I chain vaped a lot. It was just so yummy tasting that eJuice. I also had my headaches and nausea. Knowing the symptoms helped a lot.
Yeah man I feel you. This banana muffing has me wanting to hit it constantly. Did you learn that you couldnt hit it as often or did the headaches just pass one day and you got used to it?

Jesus dude.
OK ditch the chew if you need the sledge hammer find some snus and upper lip that when you NEED it only.
I was at one time vaping 36-48mg, smoking and using Odin 18mg loose snus with snorts of snuff.
I tried to quit in a high stress point and I was NOT right, the brain fog fouled me the hell up badly.

Smoking was not bad quitting, the snus on the other hand.. Took about 6 months.
Snuff only when I feel like the nose hammer.

I made the transition to Vaping so I never have to touch chew, snus or cigs again.
Hasn't been bad but I don't know why the ejuice isn't going well for me. Headaches hit me at 3:00pm and Im not even smoking that much. Couple hits here and there. Especially today. I made sure to spread out my vaping time and still headaches.
You think I could be feeling this way from quitting the darts and the dip? I used to smoke 3 darts in a row sometimes and not get a headache.

Agree with BigNasty.

Here's a list of the 599 chemicals that big tobacco adds to cigarettes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_additives_in_cigarettes

Sounds like "quitter's flu" actually -- even though vaping fulfills the need to smoke very well, your body knows it's not getting all the shit it was used to getting, and as those toxins start leaving, you can feel kinda sick. Your body has to get used to whole new normal, and it can take anywhere from a few days to a few months. Everyone's different.

But hang in there! It gets better! If you see any symptoms like rash or hives or itching or breathing problems, then it might be a case of allergy, but just general malaise, headache, nausea... it passes. Drink lots of water and other non-caffeinated/non-alcoholic drinks, it will help a lot.

Welcome to a whole new world!

Thanks Andria. Yeah I see what is going on now. I did a lot more research and its the chemical withdrawal, happens around the 72 hour mark, from what I have read.
Hope everything passes soon

Like Andria posted, it'll get better. And like BigNasty posted, if you need to be a dual user (using tobacco and vaping) for a bit to get through the transition period, it's no biggie. Just remember the goal and it'll eventually happen when you're ready. I was a dual user for a year and a half, smoking a few cigs in the morning and before bed, and vaping the rest of the day. Back then, just about the only gear available was the crappy cig-a-likes, which made it tougher. Was going through a battery just about every half hour and vaping 36mg eliquid cause the vape on those things is so weak. Thank god we got better gear nowadays (and the FDA can go fuck themselves for wanting to take the better gear off of the market!).

Hard for me to say since I was a dual user for so long. From everything I've read, though, around 2 weeks. But, like Andria said, everyone's experience is a little different.

Yeah, this... I think the reason I never really had this 'quitter's flu' is because I didn't quit suddenly; I transitioned gradually over almost a month's time, and my body was pretty much over it by the time I smoked my last. If that works better for you, then just go with whatever you can live with easiest -- all roads lead to the same outcome; how long it takes to get there really is different for everyone.

Alright guys thanks again for the responses. I have figured everything out on why I was feeling that way. I was paranoid thinking I was overdosing, to only realize that its all the other 4000+ chemical coming out of my body.
Its really not that bad, Im sure without my Vapo it would be worse but I usually wake up and have to run to the bathroom and a dull headache usually kicks in around 3:00pm. I have zero cravings (most likely because they make me sick looking at them now). Guess well see how it plays out from here.

Oden's Snus ! FTW !!! I remember sticking an Extra Stark pouch in my lip, and went outside to mow the lawn. I was so blitzed, and nearly passed out ! I loved that shit ! I still like to use snus when I can't vape. My son lives in Sweden. It's it Christmas time yet ? He'll send me a bunch of Holiday snus. :)

I played golf last weekend and my whole entire outfit was soaked in sweat. It looked like I pee'd myself. But today feeling good. Feel like Im almost there. its day 14, head is still a little foggy, but over all I feel like I have won. Just continue to hit the vapo when I get a craving. Was around smokers all weekend and didn't even think of having a cig or dip. Thanks everyone, almost feel like I couldn't have done it without the help of everyone on here.
