And if you look at the tank, the 510 screw is pretty darn flush
If it wasn't for this forum, I wouldn't even know hybrids existed, nor that a SMPL mod has a hybrid top. My old mechs are the old style, with regular 510 connectors and coming from that, I wouldn't have a clue about hybrids if it wasn't for VU. So yeah, I agree, looks like an accident waiting to happen On an aside, because of VU teaching me about hybrids I do have a SMPL mod on the way (or did it already arrive? I lose track *laf*) for use with a defective FatMan RDA clone whose 510 screw extends way out and cant be screwed in any further. Will be nice to get that into regular rotation after owning it for a year.

Thinking about trying my hand at a hive wire coil later on. Think I have enough 32g. Not sure. If nothing else, I have an idea, but not sure if it will be worth anything. Might try something with some Ni200. Hmm, I just want to build something LOL

Build away the more you build the better you get the more ideas will come !!unfortunately I can't build like I would love to and like I use to even with cortisone shots my carpal tunnel is so fucked and it's to painful to wrap coils ever a few simple ones

Hmm, is Ni200 really that low resistance? It's saying on steam engine that even a simple dual coil build would take 66/67 wraps to get to .3Ω. Something must be off.

No it's low I do 7/8wraps on 3id and get .06-.07

That's ok. If I have enough kanthal then I have a coil I want to try. It's a hive wire type. 26g would be to thick. Will have to see if I have enough 32g. Here's to hoping.

I may add a few hive coils to the PIF, maybe some tiger coils too. You get the box after me, I think.
NEVER NEVER NEVER run Ni200 on anything other than a TC mod in Ni200 mode. Getting nickel above a certain temp can cause the metal to emit some noxious stuff.

Oh I know. I had Ni200 coils in my first subohm tank, the Tron S that came with my vtc mini. It was my first experience with tc, but I don't use any preset parameters on my mod in tc. I use tcr only now. I find that it vapes far far better with tcr than the preset tc settings.

it does that. If you want to change the material, just click where it says Ni and change it to whatever you are using
