Hello, can some1 explain the diffrence between the devices mods, and the diffrent coils and their use?
Coils are: CL-Ni Head , CL_Ti Head and CL 1.0 Ohm Head
and i experience leaking with the CL 1.0ohm coil, why would that happen its a brand new device i got earlier today.

The juice i use is Joyetech grape 11mg nicotine and it feels overwhelming kinda hurts my throat and lungs but its not a dry hit.

Please go to you tube and watch some videos- I have the similar egrip OLED mine is not temp control like yours, so I cannot use the Ni- nickel or the Ti- titanium heads(coils) CL means the base style that the coils screw into. You are using the 1.0 coil which is Kanthal and should be in wattage mode- not temp mode, like it should say you are at 13watts, make sure you drop eliquid into the coil and the cotton on the sides too. Make sure the rubber cap is on the top of the coil, that is the seal! Make sure you let the coil sit in liquid for at least 15 minutes in the tank! When filling I tip the egrip down facing the tabletop, fill slowly wiping up any spills and you should see bubbles! Make sure you screwed the base on tight, check and try if you can get a turn or more on the base.
Joyetech eliquid is heavy on the PG and at 12 nic maybe too harsh, or you burned out the coil already not having primed correctly, now very harsh hits, and why it may be leaking! Along with priming the coil you have to make sure your wattage is low like at 10watts and start to break in your coil slowly until you work up to say 13 watts or more. I do not like Joyetech eliquid and have tried a few flavors.
My egrip leaks when I use the RBA base, haven't had the time to fix that issue. I bought the CS base online and can now use eLeaf GSAir coils in it and no leaking or any issues! The GS Air coils do not fit the CL base which is supplied, I had to buy separately.
Wow this is not an easy device for a newbie/ why did you chose this? You have had a hard time with Kanger Evod 2 and your ego battery with leaking issues.
I do not vape in temp control and do not use the Ni coils! I hope you purchased more of the CL 1.0 kanthal coils when you bought this set!

I don't know why Evcigarettes doesn't sell the gs air coils? But this works great- the CS base with the GSair coils+ no leaks
I buy all kinds of liquid, but I try to get at least 60 vg/ 40 pg or higher in the vg- not as harsh and try lowering your nic to 9.
Good luck on the egrip!

Here is a good starter kit- I have never used it but when newbies inquire about starter kits, this is the one everyone suggests!

Also try Mad Cow Vapors- they are having a special 120 ml of eliquid for $9.99 with free shipping! I like Devils Drip, cinnamon fireball flavor very nice, many different flavors I get their 60vg/40pg flavor chaser, I get mine in 3 nic- but have been vaping for almost 2 years.

Ahh i actually bought more of the 0.2ohm ni coil...
And there is leaking even in the airflow control screw, it leaks from there a bit and gets to the sides of the device.im not using any mad temp or watt i set it pretty low, it gives out even less vapour than the evods i had and its really heavy with the flavour or taste whatever i dont know as i said its not a dry hit, but it feels really bad in my lungs when i exhale, and i cant directly exhale into my lungs aswell so far this new egrip has been a failure like all the other ecigs i had... it leaks, it hurts my lungs and it doesnt give even a close amount of vapour like the videos and rewies of this device that i saw on youtube.

If it's leaking with a CL head then you likely have a damaged o-ring. There are three on the base. Two at the top and one just below the air holes. If your base was hard to unscrew the first time you unscrewed it you may have damaged one of the two top ones. Joyetech screws them in dry and this can lead to a sticking ring. There is a bag of replacement rings in the box. Make sure there's a o-ring at the base of the coil head above the threads as well.
The thing about the VT temp control is that it always runs at 30 watts. Wattage in temp mode is not adjustable, just the temperature. That may be too aggressive with some juices or some users. Try turning the temperature down until you get a more acceptable vape. The NI and Ti coils are of course for temp control. The regular 1.0 head is wattage only. With that one just turn the wattage down to an acceptable level.

I have never vaped with a nickel-Ni coil- at 0.2 ohms could be too harsh, like Lefty said, try lowering the temp and then raising up 5 degrees at a time, as he said make sure the base o rings are on and I believe the coil itself has a cap, there is something wrong as that base should not leak only leaking I experience is with the RBA base! It is not the egrip, they work great, you have maybe some harsh juice too, I did not care for Joyetech juice at all, but grape may have a harsh flavor, pg is more the throat hit and vg is more the clouds. Take it apart and rescrew the coil in making sure all seals are in, rescrew again into the base, tighten in make sure good and tight, even when it feels tight,Turn upside down, take off the drip tip and wipe the inside with paper towel, maybe some juice got inside the air tube, and keep upside down on paper towel for a bit, then put the drip tip back on, then turn on the wattage start at 300F and I think the reviewer said that 360F was a good vape and drag into your mouth and a drag to make sure warm enough for vapor to form.Take some slow, shallow practice puffs, do not draw too hard, and do not chain vape. Don't worry about big clouds, lets just worry at first to stop the leaking, when done vaping, take off the drip tip and charge upside down!
I wish you lived by me, so I could help, I would give you one of my brand new Joyetech eCab kits, I bought 4 when I started vaping, very easy, small and worked, I used them for at least 5 months, I have an extra never used. and would work with higher pg liquid like the Joyetech eliquid. Actually the Kanthal 1.0 would be less harsh of a hit, I do not use Ni.
Do you have other juice? Maybe the pg which is very thin is too much, you may need higher vg juice. At least 60 vg and 40 pg, with very low nic just to get over the taste of eliquid, which at 1st can cause coughing, and hard tasting in the beginning, once the coil breaks in the harsh taste seems to go away.

i checked the additional rings and found the ring that is put on the coil, there is another ring for the base but there is a third ring and i dont know where its used, its a bit bigger than the coil's ring and a bit smaller than base's ring where would i use it? maybe it will finally stop my leaking issue

Watch the first 2 minutes of the You Tube video I posted to you- he shows a bag of rings, I think the smaller one you are talking about goes ontop of the coil like a cap, please watch the video, as he shows putting that smaller thicker round rubber cap on the coil, the little square ones are for the trap door where you put the eliquid in, again, when I have my device upside down for a while, take off the drip tip, like tonight, when charging, seems to help!

yeah i watched it already it helped too thanks for that, i did put the ring on the coil i know about the square one that is for trap door, i know the white ones that are for the base but there is an additional one which is the same color as the coil's ring, its a bit bigger than the coil's ring a bit smaller than the bases' white ring, and its half the wide of the coil's ring.

The two at the top are smaller than the one below the airholes. One of the two top are what are sometimes torn the first time the base is unscrewed.
The o-ring on the coil comes with the coils. On the VT coils don't need the silicone cap like earlier models as the tube it seals to was redesigned and is now removable for cleaning.
And just to be sure, the NI and TI heads are to be used in temperature control mode only, never in wattage mode. Set it to 300 degrees F and work your way up from there.

Thanks Lefty- I have the eGrip OLED which is not temp controlled and have not had leaking issues with mine at all, I actually bought the CS base so I could use my GSAir coils 1.5 and 1.2 instead of the CL coil which I thought hit too strong. I also purchased the RBA base and that is when I can have leaking issues, too much wick, no air flow, too little and leaks, the weather is too nice outside to fiddle with it so am using the CS with the GSair coils, no leaks. I am reading that maybe they should only fill the tank part way. I find keeping the egrip upside down helps too.Maybe she flooded the coil, or not primed properly and 50% pg is very runny eliquid, or overfilled the tank and could cause leaking?
That new VT egrip looks like the whole center tube comes out- much better for cleaning than mine. I picked my fave ejuice and only use that in my egrip, my egrip is my on the go device, throw in my purse! I have never experienced all the tank leaking GahAdorable is having, first with the Kanger Evod2 tanks and now the eGrip. The eGrip is a more fidgety piece if already having problems with eVod tanks, which I have used for almost 2 years with no problems, that the eGrip maybe an even harder fix for leaks. Could the air flow screw be in too tight, I keep mine almost out and see on video that some just remove the screw for better airflow, I know you need to create a vacuum, which is I fill after charging and then take some puffs to establish the pressure.
There are so many great You Tube videos, whenever I have an issue, I check You Tube or the Forums, everyone can be so helpful!

Try only filling the tank to 1/2 full- maybe overfilled and leaked into the air chamber, very easy to do? Only fill your tanks 1/2 way , dump out most of the liquid, and try that.
Shallow vapes to get the vacuum started, and get used to eliquid with your throat. You will not get massive clouds like the reviewers do, they have been vaping quite a while and used to the hit of the device. Make sure your airflow screw is opened a bit, turn to the left a couple of turns. That is the little screw located toward the base of the eGrip. I am hoping for the best, that this leaking will stop!
When I vape on my eGrip I make sure the fire button is being pushed by my index finger which is facing up instead of down with my thumb, any leaking I would not want any eliquid into the charge port, if firing with the thumb while leaking eliquid would run into the charge port!

at the moment im still using the joyetech juice, at 9 or 8 watt and the leaking is almost gone but i still get a tiny tiny bit of juice get to my mouth every now and then. and there is one more disturbing thing that happens; the juice leaks a bit from the bottom periphery where the screws hold a plate to the bottom of the device i feel like there is a bit of space there and juice gets out from it. i tried screwing them a bit more but i cant seem to turn them at all.

I have three Egrips. The original, the OLED and the VT. None leak except a small bit if there is big difference in temperature. Say I leave it in the car and it gets very hot in the summer it may leak a bit. Even with the RDA, if wicked properly. I tend to use the CLR heads (rebuildable) and the CL base in all three. I haven't used the stock coils other than when I first got them so I don't know of issues with them. I find the temp control on the VT to be a little lacking so I just use CLR heads coiled with stainless steel and wattage mode in all three. I didn't need a third but I got the VT on special for $14.95 from efun.top and just couldn't turn it down at that price. Wonky TC aside it has the best airflow of the three and being able to take the tube out for cleaning make it the one that gets used most.

uh i really like the vt i have too, its leaking thats the only problem but its not a big leak as i said a tiny tiny drop of juice every now and then. Btw could you explain the charging of the vt version? i use the cable they gave with it and a wall adapter that's 1amp output. it feels like it charges really quickly like an hour or two is that normal because even the ego battery i have which is 800mah charges fully over 2 hours, how can 1500mah egrip charge faster? and do you think temp mod would leak more for me? and if i use temp mod what temp do you suggest i use it at? since my country uses celcius i really dont know the fahrenheit calculation which is the lowest temp for the vt? and will the leak be less on lower temp?

The 1.0 are kanthal and run that in wattage mode only- start out at 9 and start turning it up to 11 vape, any spitting turn up then 12 then 13, you can eventually try to go up to 20 if to hot keep between 10 and 20w to make vape, otherwise too low it is not able to vaporize the liquid watts on that coil, it has the black rings on it that coil is rated 10-20w, which should help stop the spitting! Eack of those coils shoud have the specs written on them
Ni blue rings can only run in temp mode rated for 260-550C or 500-550F
Ti Red rings can only run in temp mode rated for 230-260C or 450-500F
I do not know which coil you are using but NEVER use Ni or Ti in watt mode- ONLY in temp mode!
Please read your instructions on these coils!
I believe that the 1.0 black rings are the ones you will enjoy to use, the other 2 may be too harsh. You will need more of these coils soon.
I believe you overfilled and it got in the air tube and is now coming out the bottom, again take out the drip tip and turn upside down on paper towel to try to get it out! I would take the tube out under the mouth piece, but I do not feel you can do that properly, the reviewer show how on the video. Just keep wiping with paper towel, it should stop leaking eventually! and make sure that your drip tip is clear, use a QTip. You should not have any leaking with the CL base! Somehow you must have over filled. Only fill 1/2 way from now on! Joyetech site even shows tipping the device downward to put the liquid in, that is how I do it and I have no leaking! Vape a few puffs after filling to make sure you are creating a vacuum in the tank. Do not chain vape it, will get hot!
I hope this helps you to better vaping with your eGrip!
I am using my white OLED 30w one right now- NO Leaking- I have been using it for 3 months now, with 3 coil changes.

i make sure that im not overfilling its just tiny tiny drops sometimes coming into my mouth, and i use the black kanthal coil right nowat 8-9watts it sounds like gurgling if i go any higher and its kinda scary to inhale with that i feel like its gonna burst into my mouth... i generally fill from side i dont wanna bother taking out the base and getting juice all over the place... i really dont overfill it in any way tho, i inhale a bit of air without pushing the button and there is no juice sound or anything at all... and it feels like blowing in the device and getting vapor out from the airflow hole then inhaling helps with the leak issue

Yes do not fill by taking the bottom base off, fill by using the side port only! Only take off the base when you change the coil! Good that you are using the black kanthal coil- and keep doing what you feel comfortable with, it is that coil performs better between 10-20 watts, and may stop the hissing and spitting and make more vapor. Sounds like the leaking has stopped- good, now enjoy vaping!

Yeah it pretty much stopped i still get a little bit to my mouth as i said but it really decreased a lot. and i taped the bottom of the device to stop the leak there between the bottom plate and the device itself, i dont know why that happens and its actually disturbing do you guys think its because of the juice im using maybe its too thin? its joyetech juice. Im considering getting sapphire juices which are 85vg can this device handle 85vg at around 8-10 watts or maybe higher?

I am not sure the highest vg I use is 70vg/30pg Probably could handle it at 85vg, you would need to go a little higher in wattage, also the leaking should stop. Make sure you get more 1.0 Kanthal coils as I think you will enjoy those for now. Also don't want to burn out your coils and not have back ups. Maybe a new coil with completely stop the leaking.I do not have leaking like that from mine. I used that Joyetech juice when I was using my eCab, that needed thin juice, no higher than 50vg/50pg.If you can find an Joyetech eCab kit for cheap, buy it, excellent starter set, very small like a cigarette, and that kept me from smoking for months! I was truly impressed- some of these kits go for as little as $10.00- I think the Joyetech site had them for under $20.00. Please check them out, trouble free and easy for a newbie! When going out I still use them!

The leak between the bottom plate and the device is simply the result of severely flooding the coil. Either through a missing or damaged o-ring, simple overfilling or a coil not screwed down tight. It's hard to say which. The only thing to do at this point is take out the base and coil, drain the e-juice back into the bottle and then wad up a tissue and stuff it into the hole the base screws into then turn it right side up for a while and let the tissue absorb all the excess juice. Then you can throw away the tissue and put the base back in and refill the tank using the side port. Now you have a chance for it to work properly without juice leaking.

Maybe a new coil with completely stop the leaking.I do not have leaking like that from mine. i did that already and im really carefull that i dont overfill.

ok im uploading an image here lets number the rings from left to right;
1. side fill ring
2. base ring
3. the ring that goes on to the coil
4. ?? what the hell does this ring do??

Another device for beginners is the Joyetech AIO that gets suggested for newbies as a great device! Not a lot of money under $20.00 supposed to be leak proof! I have not used this device though!
You live in Turkey-wow! Maybe Fasttech ships there?
Here in the USA I have been lucky with many online vendors- quick ship and products are excellent!(so are the prices), but since the FDA deemed these tobacco products, we may be in the same boat as you with vendors!
All I can tell you is to watch You Tube videos for help! That is how and where I learned about vaping and ecigs- none of my friends or family vape, and they are constantly reminding me that vaping is worse than smoking! I have been lucky so far and not have had the issues you have had with ecigs and leaking tanks.

Yes that CLR 1.0 kanthal black rins will work! Just save the spent coils and watch you tube on how to rebuild that coil! Otherwise you can treat as the regular CL 1.0 kanthal! They show everything except the rubber ring that you are questioning, not sure if it goes on the removable center tube- mine does not do this! Maybe Lefty knows? But on this chart it tells the coils and the temp ranges and watt ranges you should be using along with what coils will work with this eGrip!

I think that last rubber ring #4 Is for the removable center tube- the tube section under the drip tip is removable, maybe it goes there? Mine does not have this. Check out the 2nd you tube- that reviewer takes out that tube section, maybe Lefty knows more about this? I would hate to see you have more trouble removing that tube section? But maybe that seal on the tube section is not lining up with your coil and so you would have leaking.
Also make sure that when you remove your coil, that the base is clear of eliquid, wipe it up with paper towels, maybe liquid is under the coil base, then reinsert the coil making sure the base is clean.

Yep, the other one is for the removable center tube. The CLR coils are a horizontal kanthal coil that can be used as is or easily taken apart and re-coiled with the wire of your choice. I just wrap on a machine screw that will fit the slot. They are also dead simple to rewick without re-coiling so it brings the cost of coils down drastically.

As far as the charging goes, the egrip charges at about 1A (provided your wall wart can supply 1A and not just .5A) or more than twice the level of your old ego so the charging goes more quickly.

Alright guys after taking all parts off and cleaning as well as i could, i let it sit for 10-20mins and now for at least 30mins i havent gotten any leaks on the bottom plate, i hope it stays that way, but there is still a tiny bit of leak in the tube, every few hits a tiny drop of juice gets into my mouth, and im using it on 9watts right now, if i go higher i get more leak from the tube. i will keep you updated if it starts leaking from bottom again at anytime meanwhile i ll watch all those vids out there, and can you guys help me figure out the little bit of leak inside the tube i told you about. im not sure if its a design fault or am i doing something wrong. After all i have been vaping or trying to vape for around a month now first i had ego ce6 which didnt do me any good, then i had kanger evod and ego twist battery combo which also didnt work, and now this egrip after doing my homework with a lot of diffrent sources nobody mentioned any leak issues with it but when i buy it there is leak... its getting hard to not go on normal cigs right now. i ll stay strong as much as i can thanks for the help guys

Really hate to see a new vaper struggle with gear. That eGrip VT is a good solid device and shouldn't leak, maybe contact the seller if you think there is a malfunction with the device, but you being a newbie and struggling with evod2 tanks leaking too and an ego battery - just trying to help! I guess I was lucky with my vape gear. I don't want to see you get disgusted and go back to cigarettes. Usually leaking ,gurgling and spitting can usually be fixed by a fresh coil, making sure eliquid did not get in the center tube(overfilling) and higher watts usually take care of spitting the higher the wattage the more you have vapor, it really is easy when you finally get great gear, and I believe that the eGrip should be trouble free!
Please keep trying and the leaks will stop, best of luck!
P.S. always make sure you buy an extra set of coils, some are bum off the bat or don't perform right, should always have extra coils on hand when you purchase your devices! Same with eliquid you should have at least a few bottles, what if mail delivery was late- don't want you to go back to smoking, but you need back ups! That 10ml of Joyetech juice will only last for a few fill ups, need to make sure that you have at least a few!
Eliquid is another can of worms- some are so horrible tasting, nic too high, too harsh, too weak, will take some tries to find eliquid you like! Just stick with it, we have all been there, some trial and error and you will find what works for you!

i am thinking of buying a 85vg juice hoping the juice i use now is just too thin and leaks, what nicotine level should i buy? for it to not leak

Btw it just started leaking from bottom again and as higher i go in watts the more leaks is.

Could be a bad coil? Yes thicker juice may help, 85% is pretty thick and for nic 9 nic to 6 nic may taste a little better! Less harsh along with the higher vg.
12nic could be OK too if the vg level is higher. Too low of nic and it will not help wanting a cigarette, too high in nic can be harsh!
Have you tried vaping the Ni or Ti coil in temp mode yet? Maybe a different coil will stop the leaking! I have never vaped in temp mode so don't know how harsh a puff might be? Screw in that base good and tight!

yeah i tried Ti coil same thing with it, and the puffs were really harsh. At this point im thinking a design fault or the juice is too thin.(joyetech juice) and there is one more thing; i checked all the vids and checked it on my on device too, the 4th rubber ring that i posted above doesnt fit on the tube nor the coils i have no idea where its used maybe it will save me from leaking i have no idea...

I think what you are getting through the tip is condensation. Remove the tip and swab out the part where the drip tip goes into the top of the tube assembly. Then when you start vaping on it again be sure to release the button a second or so before you finish drawing on it. This insures that all the vapor is drawn out on each hit. If you release the button at the same time you quit drawing, vapor is left in the tube which then builds up at the bottom of the drip tip and condenses back to liquid. This is then pulled into your mouth when you take the next draw. It's not really leaking but rather the result of your vaping technique. This stuff is easy to see first hand and difficult to detect in this kind of format.

I feel bad for GahAdorable- last week he had trouble with a kanger evod tank that leaked everywhere, so frustrating for new vapers to experience these problems! There are better starter kits out there like the Joyetech eCab and the Joyetech AIO. The Joyetech eGrip can be a great device, but I have read of all the problems some people have had with leaking like Gah is describing, that and the Kanger Nebox can leak. I have not had any leaking like that with any of my devices.
You are right about vaping technique too, you kind of let the vapor go into your mouth with a light draw, not a hard drag, I even breathe out first and then draw lightly.
I think he should take the coil out and wipe off all the juice and blow through, the coil blow out most of the juice, paper towel the inside of the egrip, take off the drip tip and clean out the well and QTip out the drip tip, clean the coil base off, reinstall the coil straight and tight, do not fill here with liquid, screw in the base good and tight, I use a coin and at first it feels tight but can usually do a few more turns, use the large hole in the fill port, slowly, and only half full. Put the drip tip on, turn up to 15 watts and take a couple of shallow puffs, I think the watts are too low- you need the heat to vaporize correctly, if it is too harsh, do not inhale, just get vapor in your mouth and blow out. Gah needs to get used to the vapor!

List off the devices your vendor has, please maybe there is something better for you. I know that you probably spent alot of money so far, but you need a trouble free kit and some good eliquid, I tried Joyetech eliquid and I didn't like the 3 different ones I tried, too harsh at 6 nic for me! I just looked up some info on you and you are 18, have you been smoking cigarettes and looking to quit by vaping or are just getting into vaping to try it?

yeah im 18, i have been smoking for two and a half years now first i smoked regular packs, then i tried out tobaccos which were drastically cheaper and people said they were kinda healthier, but for atleast a month now im trying to quit it all together with vaping.

And i dont really understand much about the tech stuff i have been hearing vaping is the way to quit smoking, most of my family smokes, or used to smoke nic gums or any sort of that didnt help them so i decided giving this a shot and im tired with all the trouble i had.

btw im going to try the vape technique you told me but i really dont think the leftover vapor is the cause because right now there is a serious amount of spitting to the point that im scared to get it near my face it went worse for some reason...

And can somebody that used the version i have please check the extra seals and maybe tell me about the 4th seal that i posted above, its not used in the device anywhere im thinking thats the cause for it, i will be getting extra 5s of 1.0ohm coil and 85vg 10pg 5 water juice just to be sure the joyetech juice isnt too thin for this device.

I honestly dont think its a design fault or i got a defected product, what are the chances of me getting 3 devices and all of them being bad products. What do you guys think is the most possible cause of my problems; thin juice, the 4th seal or any other reason that i missed, ( as i said im trying the technique you told me but i dont think that would be the cause its such an aggressive gurgle and popping sound inside the device)

And does anyone know the joyetech juice vg/pg rates? and what rate should be leak free for my egrip

I think that coil is not working right! Blow out the eliquid from it, sounds flooded or burnt out! You need to try other coils! Always order a 5pk with your gear! I think beginner error, coils not primed right- should have let that coil sit overnite in liquid in the device while sleeping, that is when I change my coils too! I am afraid that you were too excited to try without the coils being properly broken in and the coil is burned out in the tanks! They will leak when burnt out, and taste harsh and burnt!
Joyetech eliquid is 60pg/40vg- high pg is more runny and throat hit! Try the ratios the other way around- I use liquids that are 40pg/60vg or 30pg/70vg in my egrip! Stay away from Dekang too, high pg and tastes yucky! I have hated all tobacco, coffee, lemon, melon, and cherry flavors, taste like furniture polish,or medicine, yuck!
Your site is showing some good BEGINNER devices!
Joyetech- eCom- BT set , eRoll kit- both are similar to the eCab that I have used! AIO- I have not used this kit but it is always suggested to beginners!
eLeaf iStick Basic- I have this and it works great! I ordered the gsair coils in 1.5 or 1.2, the included .75 is harsh!
Innokin- iTaste vv 3 starter Kit, I use the battery, but get the set with the tanks! This is a great battery, my friend bought the whole kit and experienced no problems with leaking! I use my Kanger eVod2 on this! This is an inexpensive kit! and can set wattage and voltage, not a long life battery, but can vape with the pass through! This is the kit I suggest too! You can use your Kanger tanks too, just get new coils that look sealed, the older type that you can see the wick is the OLD style and those leak!
Always buy a pk of coils with any new gear- just in case, should always have on hand!
Go to You Tube and watch reviews on the kits I have suggested!
Get new 1.0 kanthal coils for your eGrip- nice to be able to let is prime properly when you have back ups!(scratch that, try to exchange this VT eGrip)
I do not know what that 4th ring is can you call the vendor? Tell them your problems, they may exchange the eGrip for you as those have had problems like this from other people- why didn't you buy the newest eGrip2 instead? That coil is on the top and no leaks! Maybe he will let you trade up to that one? I have not used the eGrip2, but so far has great reviews! Tell him it has leaked from day one- massive puddles, wasting eliquid! Exchange that VT eGrip!

honestly i dont want to change this device, for 2 reasons; first i like the potential of this egrip i know people say its amazing and if i can get throught the leaking/spitting it will be perfect for me and secondly shipment usually takes a few days, since the weekend is coming up it will be even more and they will have to decide there to exchange or not which will take days too then they would ship me another one which is going to be a total of over a wekk, and i dont think i will last a week without vaping or smoking

I just pulled mine apart for cleaning. What you have listed in the picture as the coil o-ring is in fact the bottom o-ring on the chimney tube and is what seals off the tube and top of coil connection. The last o-ring is still I believe the top o-ring on the chimney tube. No coil o-rings are supplied because they come with the coils and with disposable coils the o-ring is expected to outlast the coil itself. At this point I think you need to empty the Egrip and use the provided tool to remove the tube and check that the o-ring at the bottom where it seals to the coil is intact. Then using a fresh 1 ohm coil in wattage mode start over by priming the coil with juice and then filling from the side port. Perhaps use a different flavor juice. I've never used Joyetech juice but perhaps their grape is not really a very smooth tasting juice.

Hmm my coils did not come with o-rings none of them has an o-ring on them the bag with extra seals had those and they were a perfect fit for the coils
