So I just got all my stuff to DIY after doing alot of research. I found that VT Nic is regarded as some of the best. So anyways I mixed up my first bottle of juice at 3mg Nic and feel like this nicotine has a major throat hit and makes me feel light headed like I'm vaping way to high of Nic level. Is this normal after vaping a fresh mix? Do I have to let it steep or something? I used a ejuice calculator and it said for 3mg Nic in a 15 ml bottle I needed 0.45 ml of nic using 100 mg pg base nic. Is this right?

That's correct for 3mg. Do you by chance have a nic test kit? You can veryify the strength of the nic. I have heard from a few people that they lowered their nic strength using VT, but only a nic test will tell you the actual strength of it.

I never got any TH at all when using their premium nic. I prefer their TH nic, though, and even that, I find mild.

I really don't mind a little throat hit but I'm not liking the feeling that I am getting like i am vaping way to high of Nic strength you know what I mean? Like getting light headed and a little dizzy. Any suggestion on what to lower it to?

your numbers are right
i agree theres usually no th with the premium
however i find the th nic to be strong as hell
you need to get a nic test kit and verify its only 100mg
cuz if its higher then 100mg it could be a hair more dangerous at that concentration

I am thinking he never shook his nicotine since he disappeared but then again it is Friday night and close to dinner time. Nope he is in California so that was afternoon.

I've never heard of time smoothing out nicotine. :anyone:

I vape VT @ 18mg and get no TH at all.

A lot of people don't have the sense to shake or in the excitement just forget.

Sorry for taking so long to get back I was at a jib interview. I actually can't rember shaking my Nic so that could be it. But mines pg based if that matters in gona mix some more but shake the shit out of my Nic first and only use maybe 2.5 mg? I don't have a Nic test so I can't do that. Should I lower the Nic a little sence u guys say it really strong?

I'd try it @2.5 mg and go from there. After shaking it you should notice a world of difference

Ok I really hope so because this was my first mix and I was extremely surprised how good the recipe I followed tasted no steep or anything! Just got to get this Nic right in going to mix right now and see thanks for your help

Since you didn't shake the nicotine try doing the exact same in a smaller volume for a test. That way you only deal with the one variable being the nicotine.

Please keep in mind that you get a stronger concentration of nic from a rda. A 6mg vaper should use a 3mg juice in a dripper to keep from getting "nic sick." I vape a 3mg juice in my tanks, but a 1.5-2mg in a rda or I get that nasty feeling in my head, much like you did.

You also need to shake your flavors before use as they will separate just sitting. Anything that is multiple components needs to be shaken before used.

Another money saving benefit with proper DIY mixing. No need to buy a NordicTrak machine!

I have their throat hit and regular. I don't notice any difference at rda nic levels.
