So I broke down and bought noisy cricket. With 2 18650 25r Samsung batteries(which I think are the problem) and they do not work.. now I was told these were pretty good batteries but they did not work at all in my noisy cricket. I put imren batteries in just to test the mod... and they worked. When I put the Samsung's in my regulated mod they work. The positive connection on the Samsung's seem very flat and I'm thinkimg they may not be making a connection?

Any solutions

Is your mod is completely clean and functional and works with other batteries? If so , your 25r are out of specs. Most probably positive side is not making a contact. Have never seen that happen with new batteries but it does happen with used ones.

It could happen, when the Sams are clones.

Another problem could be the atomizer/RDA 510 pin not protruding properly, which would be a danger in itself.

@Osbornebrandon53, I'm assuming, you put the batteries in the right way. The mod doesn't work, when the batteries are inserted wrong.

Have you looked at the wrap on the negative side of the battery? Could be too much wrap

I have the same problem with them in my vaperz cloud 2x stacked tube with the 25r's. yes their new batteries, yes they are authentic 25r's. I don't have this problem with LG's or sonys, it just seems that some of the positive contacts and the sammys are slightly shorter than others, but also some of my 25r's are fine. if you buy your batteries from a shop just check the positive before you buy if you can. does it bother me about the 25r's, nope, I still buy them, just some don't work in my stacked tube, so their my box mod batts. I don't have a cricket so I cant say what to check on it, they are pretty straight forward tho
