Help please!

I don't know if this is the right place so please feel free to move if required.

I am looking for a new kit....

I have been deciding between innokin cortex kit and the eleaf ipower.

They are both 80w TC built in batteries which I want. But the ipower has 5000mah compared to the cortex 3200mah (from memory)

I currently use istick 40w Tc with isub g tank. But it's starting to not last as long etc.

So I am after some advice/reviews etc of people using/testing either of them.

Been looking at YouTube and reviews online but no stores near me stock either so i am turning to you guys.

Can't speak of those two but I do love my Innokin Coolfire TC 100. Great little mod that comes in a kit as well. Awesome board that's dna smooth.

The new Istick thingy is nice, same size and shape as the Istick50W, mine is a week old today and still has 2 of the 5 battery bars..

Over a full week on a single charge if you vape low watts

Wow!! That's impressive!

I would be at around 50-60w with the isub clapton coils. Thats the other reason for going higher watts on my next mod....

Which tank are you using? And how are you find the ipower?

Ok, just out of interest, which coils do you use? I use the standard 0.5 ohm (non clapton). I find them ok, but the nickel are too tightly packed for my liking and don't find they have a good draw.

I have been using the Nautilus mini...I got the wood-grain version and it is great, I like the button way better than the old 50W

I have a Coolfire IV TC100 and the isub tank has nice flavor but the coils do not last long at all, I get maybe 2 full days of good flavor and then it starts dropping off. It doesn't really taste bad, just not as good and steadily the flavor goes away. My Atlantis, the coil would last me 2 weeks+ and I got over a full week of very good flavor before it started dropping off

That's what im finding. I rewick the .5s every 2-3 days to keep the flavour going.

I like the wood grain. That's the one i want.

For my vaping style, the eleaf hands down. Even at higher watts, I'd bet you'd get a least a full day or two out of a charge.
The coolfire, even at 15W, I need to recharge it every other day

I'd go with the eLeaf too... that's a huge mAh difference. I myself had a 40W TC and really enjoyed it, but eventually I wanted more.

I think a different tank will change your mind on TC. Maybe just get the mod, and a different tank? I like eLeaf mods but their tanks usually leave something to be desired. Try a Crown, a SMOK, a Herkales, a Horizon Arctic, something like that?

Best little mod I ever owned. I actually like it better than my SX Mini. I like it so much I'm going to be picking up 2 Coolfire TC 80w shortly. I like the idea of having the same mod with an 18650 battery. I'll sacrifice the 20 watts for that.

I absolutely love my cortex, but I have to echo others and say their coolfire line would be a better choice for most. There is also the chance of getting an older cortex without SS temp control. It is updateable through auth. shops, but who wants to do that? There really is no reason to get a cortex over the coolfire, unless you are strange enough that its quirks appeal to you, and plenty of reasons to choose a coolfire instead.

In roughly that same price range though, there is also the hotcig dx200. Not without its own issues, but it is a dna200 device.

I disliked my isub g tank because of its horrible coil life and subpar flavor (not the worst out there in that respect though).

Ok cheers all. I used to have the ego mega tank and that was awful. After reading a LOT of reviews the isub g seemed to do the trick but actually using it, i have to say i am not as impressed as i was hoping to be.

Just for a different take on things:

Money no object.

Built in battery, not fussed for tc, just decent vapour and real good flavour, what mod/tank combo would you go for?

I don't want replaceable batteries, just a little quirk of mine.....

About the size of a normal cigarette packet?

Yeah.. I'm right there with ya! The feel and the bottom screen are my favorite things about it. Yet, that seems to be what many people hate!

One of the coolfires has an internal battery, I believe. The innokin MVP 3 pro has one too, and its quite large (4500mah). There is also Joyetech evic vt, Vaporfi VOX (iirc), hotcig DX200, and smok m80. I'm sure there are more..

I have heard some issues with some smok stuff, and perhaps the hotcig, but the rest would probably serve you very, very well.

Even with price being no object, most higher end stuff uses changeable batteries. If cost isn't the issue, are there other reasons you prefer the internal batts?

Eta: If you didn't already know, sites like fasttech.com sell atomizer clones for cheap (5-15 bucks) with free shipping. Just make sure to select epacket shipping and wait a couple weeks. It can enable you to get a bunch of atomizers to try for the price of one authentic.
