I've been away from whats new for a while but being that i live in pa I have to buy everything I need before Aug 1 when this lovely 40% tax is introduced. I've got mechs but id really like a single battery regulated mod that'll last a good while to add to my collection.

There are plenty, but if it's sturdy you're looking for, then the Ele / Laisimo P70 is a tank.

If you want features more than sturdiness, the eVic VTwo or VTC Mini are hard to beat.

If you want multi-battery compatibility, features, AND sturdy, the HCigar VT75 is very nice.

Thanks, I should've said I really don't use temp control too much, its nice to have the option but it's not a huge deal, I've got mods for that anyway. How's the coolfire 18650? Ive always been a fan of innokin, especially since my old MVP keeps on chugging.

Love my Coolfire TC. Great board in it that gets no love. The best most sturdy well built single 18650 mod I have is the SX Mini but it's not cheap.

It is a great board. I don't have the 18650 model but I have the original 100 TC mod

As much as I like quality, an sx mini is a bit out of my price range, especially with me just buying a petri v2 lol.

I love the Sigelei Mini Book Kit I got from 121vapes.com that whole kit including 18650 battery was only $21.99 and free quick shipping!
I loved the first one so much I have ordered 2 more and am very happy with this set!

The black is sold out- but there are still other colors, they have been restocking these very quickly so maybe black and silver will come back again?

Oooops- forgot to say that I use the Aspire Atlantis coils 1.0 kanthal with the XTank, they work great!

I'd like to know how the smy goes, I only remember the smy god mods which from all the stuff I heard weren't very good. The vtc mini keeps coming up too, hmm decisions

I, too, have the first three (although I recommend the IPVD3 over the D2. The D2 does not offer step down and fires hot on lower wattages). All 3 are solid. I prefer, by far, the feature set on the eVic. I like the look of the SnowWolf. I love the handfeel of the D3.

You are right about the D2 and I forgot to mention that. Definitely go for the D3, I'm pretty sure they cost around the same. As for the SMY, I've been on the fence about ever since I saw that deal on ecig.com but I too am a bit leary of SMY. I know that DJLSB had something to do with settings but I doubt he was party to the manufacturing process.....I really like the look of the Hcigar nano.

Yea I looked into a d2 a while ago, that turned me off. And I'll be skipping the smy since I need something that'll last for some time. I like the hcigar, but I haven't seen them much below $100, so I'd have to cut it close and order next paycheck.

I saw the Nano for $80, I'll try and dig up the link. If you don't use it, I'm sure someone on here will.

Out of all the mods listed here so far I'd recommend the Evic VTC as the best value buy (the "last a good while" qualification pretty much eliminates anything IPV imo). Had trouble with my first one i had to warranty (which seemed to be a pretty rare thing among people posting here and ECF), but my second is going 8+ months strong with some quality wear and tear mileage on it.

www.eciggity.com/joyetech-evic-vtc-mini-body-only/

Cheapest price i see. Reddit10 coupon puts it at $39 shipped.

Although fair warning, Joytech's warranty policies if you need it can be a tad frustrating. Expect them to jump you through extensive hoops before they'll be taking any kind of loss on a defective product. Think i ended up sending the same 2 videos to 4 different reps, who would then refer me down the line to another, before finally getting one weeks latter that would ok an exchange. But that is pretty standard business practice on the chinese front of ecig products. Cheap prices backed by cheap CS.

I've seen them for $33 before shipping at a sight I usually use but thanks. sadly I'm familiar with that warranty process, I had a cuboid go bad in me and it took about a week to finally get them to issue a replacement.
