Setting Coil Resistance in the 213 Mod

Just got my new 213, got most of it figured ( could have been a better users guide for this one
Trying to set coil resistance, follow the steps, get to Lock / Read menu in TCR Mode, go to READ, hit the fire button and it shows current resistance for about a nano second, I have tried using UP/DN & fire buttons change the setting, any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong ??

It doesn't lock the resistance and the TCR functions do not work. It's a wattage box.

Thanks, watched the video you provided, was just confused because the user guide says the resistance should be between 1 - 3 Ohms, I am assuming that the coils have a preset resistance that just needs to be locked after installation.

Despite the lack of TC, it's still a great little mod. The size and build quality are really nice.

I was just playing with with 213. And it seems to be doing TC with ss316

Watched the video. He never really locked the resistance. You gotta hold to lock.
If you noticed the resistance kept fluctuating, mine remains the same. I did it late last night. I'll play with it more when I get home

So you changed the coil to the ss318 and were able to change the resistance setting, or just changed the setting to ss318 in the TC mode?
