Never satisfied, so where do I go from here?

Hi everyone, looking for some advice!

I'm the kind of guy that builds a collection. Never completely satsified, want to always improve in quality!!! I usually trade away my older stuff, or even help out friends to get them into vaping.

So, right now I have a pretty nice collection going.

I have a Joyetech Cuboid and Hohm Wrecker G1 for mods. Tanks I have Uwell Crown, Herakles Sense, Tobeco Mini, and Vaporesso Gemini.

Crazy, and a pretty good little collection right?

Well, for some reason, I am a guy who wants to keep getting better, chasing the very best! Always willing to accumulate more items to my collection, as you never know when I decided to let something go.

So, give me some advice? Maybe chase the best possible Mod? Where can I go from here to keep getting even better in my Vaping world! Have to keep things fresh, always try something new! That's is where the fun on this hobby lies for me.

One thing, I am not really into building stuff tho. I dunno, just doesn't seem to interest me much. I like the deck on my house too, doesn't mean I wanted to build the darn thing. ha.

So, throw some advice my way, where to go from here? THANKS!!!

Yeah, always thought it would be a bit bulky. Also, am not crazy about it using 3 batteries, sort of a mini nightmare keeping that many on charge at all times. Am definitely intrigued tho and am sure it is completely awesome. Also, every time i walk into a vape store, every employee is carrying one of these. Like i said, I am sure it is a great unit, but hate to do the same thing everyone else is doing. I guess they are doing that for a reason tho. The leather ones are nice tho.

You don't have to get a 3 battery dna200. They have ones with built in lipo packs, and dna133 that take 2 18650s.

Ok, i see how this works, DNA 200 is the technology, then you have the choice of what to get.

Only about 10K options then.

I know I want something not overly bulky. Fast charge time with maybe battery options.

Not sure, like i said on the protovapor site now, STILL scrolling down the list of possiblilities.

Maybe give me advice that way, which is the best one to have? Right now, i really like the 44, Lost Vape Efusion, Hcigar, Hotcig, Vaporshark, Cloudmaker, or Volcano.

Holy heck, did eliminate any of them? haha. Ok, how to narrow this down here.

Wow, the lavabox gets some fantastic reviews. Seems to be the one to beat after some quick research. Anyone have this mod? Is the hype warranted?

I own the triade, vt133, effusion duo. All great mods. Vt133 is a dual battery, very nice size, and can be found for under 100 bucks. The effusion duo is also nice and you can switch from lipo to dual 18650. The triade is a triple 18650 which your not interested in. I have heard great things about the lavabox. I'm pretty sure you will like it if you get one. It only comes with a 900mah battery but you can buy a 1300mah lipo and install it. Hope someone that owns one will chime in. Best of luck to you in your search. Dna200 are awesome chips. I know you will love it...

And also watch lots of you tube reviews. Great place to get an idea about a certain device your looking at. And just don't watch one reviewer. Watch many reviews on the product. Hope this helps...

I should mention I am an all day vaper. I have 3 sets of batteries now to keep up! I know if these have to be recharged all the time and I can't keep it active, that will end up being something I hate.

get a VT133. it's dual 18650 batteries and super small for what it does. Almost as small as some single battery box mods. and it has the best temp control board.

But yeah, if it is something that when you use up you have to plug it in and wait 3 hours, that will frustrate me.

with the VT133 you can swap out batteries anytime easily so no waiting. plus you can customize the look with a jwrap

I would stay away from the cloudmaker whiteout. I think they went out of business and I have heard bad things about that mod. The effusion duo is nice, but like SirRichard said your best bet is the Hcigar Vt133. It's also the best bang for the buck. It can be bought for around 90 bucks compared to 150 for the duo. Decisions yours, but I know you can't go wrong with a dna200 chip device...

Do any 200 devices use both? Meaning, it uses a digital charge but can use batteries as well if needbe?

Don't listen to the complaints. My seams are perfect (maybe it was a 1st run issue only?) and the battery door you can squeeze a little to make it tight (thats what I did) For a dual battery mod with a DNA 200 board under 100 bucks it's perfect IMO

I haven't had as many mods as most people here, but my vote still goes to the VT133. Checks all the boxes for me personally.

the 133's in the picture are VERY pocketable/ especially the flask.. the flask has a curved shape that hugs the leg when its in your pocket and forces it to just fit in the hand perfectly.
the shark and vt133 fit in your hand perfectly to palm. and the smy is teeny tiny, it disapeers in your hand its so small.

the Cloudmaker is a damn brick


for a non- tc mod the only things I can recommend that stand the test of time would be the hexohm- no screen or buttons, just a potentiometer and raw power.
if the dna mods are a Cadillac then the hexohm is the corvette

The effusion duo does both. Has a 1300mah lipo that you can use, or you can swap it out for the battery sled which turns it into a dual 18650 mod. I have one and I love it.

Those M17 are badass. I would buy one but there so expensive. 400+ for a nice one. But like many have said the vt133 is far from cheaply built. It's solid as hell, no gaps, battery door is fine. The you tube reviews make it seem way worse than it is. If I had the money I would go with the m17. They just look so badass.

Like everyone has said you can't go wrong with a DNA200, I love mine. Just to throw a curveball out there and since you already have the Wrecker G1 then how about a newer G2, it is more advanced than your G1. Hohm also has the Slice which is a single 26650 mod with the FSK chip in it. I like the build quality on the G2 a lot more but the Slice has been great for me on the go and the LE Slice has internal 3 amp charging if you need to use it for a quick top off.

You can also wait a month or so for the new DNA250 mods, Evolv finished the chip just in time and we all know the Chinese could give half a shit about the FDA 8-8 deadline.

For your purpose best to check and see were to buy the extra lipo's for it as well. Lipo's have never interested me unless they can be swapped out with an fresh charged one while the other charges.

all are pretty much one company and in the spirit of china companies, have an incestuous relations. they have had some great, ground breaking, and standard workhorse products.
they have also had duds.
just make sure you like it before you buy it.

I have a Lavabox with the 1300mah battery upgrade. I love this mod. It's the only LiPo mod I have and the only one that will let me crank up the wattage with my TFV8. The 1300mah battery lasts me all day at 150w with fairly regular use (not sure that it'd qualify as 'chain vaping', but it does seem like I'm puffing on it quite often). Since I bought this in February, I've seen a few other DNA200 boxes for less money, but no idea how they compare in build quality. The Lavabox is solid without being too bulky.

I would argue that the Yihi chips are as good as the DNA - don't shoot me. This mod is only 85 x 62 x 25mm and uses dual 18650s. It's small. It's powerful. It is extremely well built. The Yihi SX350J-V2 Chip set is 200W. Everything about this mod is top quality. It will cost you though - 250 US. It does TC very well, vapes in power mode well and you can adjust your ramp up - powerful+, powerful, standard, soft and eco. It is upgradeable - don't know why in the world you would but ... You can get NI, TI, SS and TCR.

Now if you are patient you can wait for the other mod I want.

SXmini G+ Class by YiHi

Another Yihi chip set but with DC/DC and buck and boost. Will easily rival a DNA 200 now I think. Also a realtively small mod and we know that Yihi makes solid devices. My Q class is a beast of a mod and this should be even better. Comes with a hefty price tag though - 300 US. But I would pop for one if funds allowed me to me and maybe I'll get it but I commited to the Castigator and really do not need both - I just want both, lol.

The mini m17 takes a 26650, not a 18650. Just letting you know..

Just to throw in my two cents I like you have gone through many different mods searching for something better and just recently purchased the SX mini Q class and this thing is a beast love love love this thing. Got mine in Diamond Blue paired up with the UWELL Crown 2 tank and a bottle of Pound Cake from teleos for the win!
