What are some good recommendations?
preferably something that can take 510 threaded atomizers, not looking to buy coil heads.
This will be more of an on the go mod and won't get a whole lot of use so nothing too pricey.
Thanks in advance :vino:

not looking to spend more than $50-60, so anything below or around that price range would be great!

I've been looking for a mod that has adjustable contacts ..not a hybrid. that can take low ohm vaping my PAP"s button gets to fucking hot if I vape below .6...I have atties with copper contacts, but I've never owned a copper mod are they a pain in the ass as far as maintenance... kinda wish it was SS..

this will hit harder with a low ohm build than anything you've tried.
as far as maintenance goes, its more of a personal taste.
I like a little bit of a patina on my copper. so I only shine them up every other week or so. with a regular cheap copper polish, it takes all of two seconds. Or you can use a clearcoat to lock it in.
personally, I love my copper mechs.

not that I don't know anything about ohms law, but I just feel much safer using regulated mods.
I love the way Mech mods hit, I just feel a little on the fence about owning one, especially a tube mod but thanks f1r3b1rd.
I would love to hear your recommendation on a regulated device.
By the way, have you tried the Lavatube V3? that thing looks freaking sweet!!

I haven't no... and quite honestly, for regulated tubes, I don't know much outside of the lavatube with the dna40, dicodes, mark bugs, innokin svd(20) and provape.
I do have a few provape mods(2.5, 2.5mini, p3, Procyon)

The P3 looks awesome as well.
Idk, I may just have to stop being so faint hearted and go the mech route. They all seem to look smaller then regulated tubes.

well, yes. the regulated has a board on top of the battery, the mech does not.
I guess, first thing, you need to do is figure out how much power you want.
the p3 is 20w and wont fire below a 0.5ohm build and the Procyon is 50w and lets you go down to 0.3 ohms.
with a mechanical, you'll want to brush up on your ohms law and battery safety.

provari2.5mini/kf3.1, Procyon/kf5, p3/kf4

I see, that makes sense, Anything that can go up to at least 40 watts would be ideal for me.

that leaves you slim options to my knowledge
perhaps someone will know more.
but
volcano at one time had a lavatube with a dna40board in it- 40w
provape has the Procyon- 50w and a great mod!
dicodes has the dani extreme -40w and the dani2380t- 40w or 80w
The V-tube 4.0- 50w

now, there are also a few things like this:::
http://www.vapordna.com/Eleaf-iJust-S-Kit-p/ijussk.htm
and these
http://www.vapordna.com/Joyetech-eGo-One-CT-Constant-Temperature-Kit-p/ego1ct.htm

I don't know a lot about them so I would do you a disservice saying anything

I think that's the Lavatube 3 you're talking about. I can't find it anywhere though.
Actually the 3 you mentioned seem pretty difficult to obtain it seems, wish they made more regulated tube mods.
I'm not too sure about e-leaf as I've had a bad experience with them before.
Keep me updated if you ever find another jewel like you did a few days ago at that price.
I might just pick it up and brush up on a few things, gotta further my vape knowledge sooner or later, right? :D

btw that beyond vape site is pretty awesome man, thanks for linking me to that

I wish they made more regulated tube mods too!

I enjoy my mechs, but I do prefer regulated for most of the time, but tubes do look very nice. Plus they don't get so many odd looks as a big box mod can outdoors, I hope manufacturers do make some nice, useable regulated tube mods in the future.

Beyond vape is one of those company's that really don't get the credit they deserve imho. Great gear at a great price with really good Customer Service.
forgot about these as well

http://www.aquavaporcig.com/Pioneer-For-You-Seven-30-Mod-Product.html
aquavapor also has a coupon code right now for 70% off-"SAVEMORE"
those two are only 30w mods though.

Dicodes looks great, but man it is pricey.....there aren't alot of regulated tube mods around....and those that are...are expensive or the cheap ones don't pump out more than like 25 watts.

Now I have looked at this thread and seen some mods, I am sure soon I will have a lighter wallet-I really want a regulated tube mod, they look so nice :)

I have to agree the Dicodes mods are very pricy though, a 20W one on a UK site is ÂŁ139.99!

Itaste svd 2.0 is my tube of choice. Very inexpensive basic e cig.

I'm actually considering getting the beacon mod from beyondvape.com
only $15 for a blem version, my only issue is I can't find any specs on it. Nothing listed as to how low of an ohm I can build on it nor
the amp limits. Anybody here have one or used one for that matter, would be great to hear your thoughts.

because the beacon is a mechanical mod.
It does not have a board in it.

ahh man, I thought even mechs had an ohm/amp limit
I plan on getting a LG HG2 battery for it and I don't plan on building anything below .5 ohms, I'm assuming I'm in the safe zone, right?

you know what, I'm going to go brushen up on my stuff before I sound like a retard ready to blow
his face off o_O

on a mech mod your limit for what you can push is up to the batteries you use, and if the button doesn't get too hot...and I would say .5 is pretty safe. when you start dipping into low sub-ohming you really need to buy good quality batteries for your mech mods, and have a through understanding on what your batteries limitations are.

I've got this one for an inexpensive kick around Mod. Thing I like about Beyond Vape's Tube mods is their button, very smooth.

Sage

(Sage is on the right)
nctube_zpsgfxealat.jpg

This is also my favorite 18650 Tube Mod, I really love it. Being copper a bit more maintenance but damn it hits so very, very well. I initially bought a Blemished one, the threads were a little banged up. I just took an Emery Board, smoothed them out a little bit, works like a charm. Loved is so much I got an unblemished one when they went on sale.

Oros V2

I also have 3 of these (two on sale and a trade for the other). It hits very well also and I like the extra battery life with 26650's. Just get decent batteries (not shit eFest garbage) like AWT or Basen. I usually build between .18 - .2, love this mod also

Oh to add, Copper is so worth it IMO for how well they hit. It really isn't that difficult to keep clean and really in all seriousness the patina kinda looks cool. Anyway so easy to clean if you have the right stuff, I use Wrights Copper cleaner. It's for cookware and cleans copper really, really well with little to no effort.

no,I am not ...I am the yoda of eating,...and I know a quite a bit about Genisis atomizers. I'm not the guy to go to for a real detailed understanding of low sub ohm vaping.....and I am a ludite who thinks boards in a mod is the work of Satan, and only use mech mods because they are simple, and I can't break them like I do everything else. I only use mech mods and I think they are pretty compared to the fucking regulated mods that look like a fucking tonka truck outta kids toy box.You probablly know more about low sub ohning than I do, but I know enough not to blow my fucking head off.....and I like to learn all the aspects of vaping and I've tried most of them out at one time or another....I even do a bit of low sub ohming on my Origen genisis v2 mkII....dual ceramic wicks.

they are certainly beautiful, but, I do use dna boards for most of my vaping needs. Like you though, I enjoy all aspects of the hobby, including mech vaping.

I really liked TC, played with it a lot on my DNA 200 Reuleaux. Then I jumped in head first into the Mech world. IMO mechs give the cleanest, purest and smoothest vape. So much depends on knowing the Mod and the Atty so you can build correctly. Once you hit the right combination the satisfaction is divine!

admitt it you are not looking for a genny....you;ve been vaping long enough by now to have grabbed one if you wanted to......you like sucking on limp wicks....where as I prefer a nice stiff one.
