Advice: IPV5 or Smok H-priv 220w?

I'm looking to get back into vaping, and had decided on the IPV5... Until I saw the 37.99 shipped deal on Vapor Joes for the Smok H-priv 220w.

Which should I go for?

Looking for decent smoke production and ease of use. I realize I won't be creating any artificial fog banks on a $30-$40 mod, but between these two (or a similar price point) which should I go for?

I don't have any gear at the moment, but definitely planning on a sub-ohm rebuildable tank. (I haven't decided on one yet.)

BTW, this is my first post, wanted to try out this forum. Sorry if this isn't the right place. :)

Personally, I'd take an Ipv over any Smok mod. Just not a big fan of Smok after owning an X Cube II. Plus the Yihi chipset is better than any board Smok has.

I have both.
Actually I have 1 of the IPV5s and 3 of the H-Privs.
Both are awesome devices.
My personal choice would be the H-Priv for the following reasons;
Lighter weight
Paint doesn't wear off as easy
Fire bar is awesome (similar to the istick tc100)
Larger screen that is on top of the device making it a bit easier to read

All that said, they both fit the hand very well and just work.
Either way, you'll have a great device so you can't go wrong.

Thanks for the input. I'd done a fair bit of research on the IPV5, and it looked like a real gem in the budget range, I just saw the deal on the smok (about 40 with fs, from over $100) and started doubting myself. Any good recommendations on a budget rebuildable tank to learn on, that looks good on the I{V5?

I don't own the h-priv but danial seems to think it is an amazing device.. He has a few cons like delayed fireing in video but in a much later video he says all the cons were fixed in a firmware upgrade.. I am tempted to get it.. Or even tempted to get the x-cube ultra.. Seems to share alot with the h-priv but with a nicer body and balanced charging and bluetooth firmware upgrades.. don't know man.. my next mod will probably be the ipv6x.. but the x-cube ultra looks pretty nice..

May I suggest an additional alternate of the Smok Micro one 150 kit?

I'd go with the IPV5. It's easily one of my favorite mods for a number of reasons...

It's efficient in terms of battery life
It use a tried and true chip
it's got a solid 510
It does TC very well
It has a very ergonomic and nice looking design
