When I lost my very first Rottweiler it took me 2 years before I could bring myself to get another one. I have had a Rottie since 1996 but I just could not do it again. With time the pain goes away and you will remember the good times. The funny little things they do. It will come. Don't rush into anything, give yourself time to heal. You will find another special 4 legged pal who needs your love. Don't think of that little pup as a replacement, but rather a blessing. Brownie would want you to be happy again.
