There aren't many apps for the iPhone! Apple seems to block any of vaping related apps.

I know this is bringing back an old thread and I apologize but I now have an Android and was wondering what apps you guys think are best for that

I've been giving all the flavors a try, it's like elr but smaller, supposed to be for people who have actual recipes, but it's new and the website is easier to use.

Also I use vape tool.

I still like steam-engine the best, for coil wrapping and knowing the amp load on a battery. For DIY, I've always used DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors With Nicotine Plus PG/VG Adjusting -- it's not an app, just a website, and it doesn't work well in my tablet; if I want to make any changes I have to do it at the PC, then just refer to the recipe on my tablet while mixing.

I tried Vape Tool, but it wouldn't let me go to the Coil Wrapping section, so it was useless.

I build and DIY and only use an ohm checker, a calculator, paper and a pencil. More reliable and faster than any app. Of course you have to actually be able to do simple math and know ohm's law and the power formula. But if you build or DIY shouldn't you know that stuff anyway? So what does any app do better or faster than you can do yourself? Would you allow your kid to rely on an app instead of actually understanding something like ohms law if they were trying to rebuild or understand percentages and other simple math if they wanted to mix potentially poisonous liquid they meant to consume? Seek knowledge, not a fucking app.

I can't say I know Ohm's law -- formulas just don't stick in my head at all, and that one is particularly difficult, since the letters refer to french words rather than english -- I'm an American, I don't speak French. But thx to steam-engine, I don't have to know it. Using high resistance coils is helpful, too; I never really have to worry.

Volts = amps x resistance? Really? Where's the foreign language or the complexity? Your excuse is weak. In fact it's complete bullshit.

To someone who is good at math, it probably is bullshit. for someone who can't keep a formula in mind for longer than it takes to read it, it's not bullshit at all. Thankfully, I don't need your permission to use steam-engine.

And I don't measure volts; my mods are all wattage.

In point of fact, this is ohm's law:

Apparently that "I" is for some french word for "amps". I don't know that word, so it makes zero sense to me.

Volts are part of watts and it's actually E=IR. Remain ignorant about potentially hazardous, build it yourself equipment and rely on someone or some tool to give you answers you don't understand if you want. I suggest people that build and DIY actually understand what they're doing first. Then use 'do it for you' tools if that's easier. Kinda like learning how to add before picking up a calculator. I never remember seeing anyone on here tell someone "don't worry about understanding ohms law, just use this tool to do it for you". We don't tell people to do it that way for a reason. If you're comfortable with your lack of comprehension, fine. I don't consider that acceptable and will not tell anyone else that it is. Using tools you don't understand is foolhardy. Especially when hazardous equipment is involved.

You don't choose to break you leg and temporarily use a crutch to get around. You do choose to refuse to learn how to multiply and divide. Piss off.
She didn't CHOOSE to break her leg. She chose to not bother.
Again, you are too stupid to grasp the situation you boorish cretin..
