When you build the Avocado22 you're supposed to move the wicks to the side a bit so that air can enter the tank, replacing the liquid that is pulled out of it, so just push a syringe needle or needle nose bottle through one of those spaces.

it has a fill hole on the side covered by a metal cover. unless u are saying the holes are too small for some bottles (like dripper and unicorn bottles) in which case i agree it can be tough. it's best in a bottle with a small drip on the top so you can stick it in the hole. You can buy bottles like that for .50 on amazon and use it as a filler bottle

I use a syringe and stab it down by the cotton, but a fairly long pointed unicorn bottle work well too, but not as well as the syringe.

I just got one...syringe all day...kind of stinks buying syringes and labeling bottles but it's ok....works fine...if u run single coil just pull the ceramic plug out and fill there.

Single coil, and pull the plug... It's the best... Just run a big coil, and the flavor is improved, too...

Need a syringe tip for these if you build dual coils. Less mess for sure. I bought the Avocado 24 for my dual coil builds and use the 22's for single just for that reason really.

I have a couple of clone Avocados from FT - I build them single coil.
Imho they're a pain to refill even in single coil mode - you have to pull off the top cap, then the AFC sleeve, then the ceramic plug - and on the clones I have all the pieces are so tight you need Hulk strength to pull them apart.

I decided to experiment and buy some extra ceramic plugs. My plan is to drill a small hole all the way through the plug from top to bottom so I wouldn't have to remove the plug to refill.

The hole will have to be a very small diameter - it might not be enough for refilling, but if anything it might help with wicking as it will allow the tank to release vacuum better.

I have that same problem with the clone 22, very tight fitting parts. That was actually the reason I went ahead and bough the authentic. The plug comes out much easier, so it's just pop off the top, pull the plug and fill... unless you have big hands, then yea still a pain. lol
