Has latest firmware so good to go there thought I'd need to plug her in and give it a FW bump.

The whole thing feels nice in the hand, all the buttons are soft and clicky. Housing is most def some sort of casting metal. Paint looks good Real good. Door does not move. This thing is a dream!

This thing is accurate. How do I know?
Used a coil build box meter then my fluke. The kangertech KBox mini wattage is wack! 30w hits Hotter then 60w pos. selling it soon. This slice is smooth as butter on a hot piece of toast.

Oh yeah so I guess my red efest 26650 batteries are not working very well anymore. (I build custom high power flashlights) so I have this 26650 to 18650 sleeve (have quite a few) and am using a 18650 with the slice. Works fine! Will be buying some of those hohm brand 26650s soon tho.

I know what you're saying but we're talking about 26650 batteries. I'm not reccomending them over an 18650. I'm just saying if you are going to buy a 26650 get the the Black Basen or the Hohmtech because they perform the same. Mooch also reccomends the Black Basen.

I agree but at the same time if you build to match the mod you can get excellent results. I am vaping my Mason Dumptank on the VT75 in SS316L TC mode with a 0.41 ohm build and it is sooooo good. I have never had any problems running any of my other tanks on the Slice as well with 26650's. I am just a fan of the format for battery life and being compact, fits nicely in my cup holder.

When I really want to crank the wattage I switch to a dual or triple 18650 mod but both have there place based on people's needs.

I was just saying pound for pound 18650's are better. A 26650 has more than twice the volume of a 18650 but nowhere near twice the performance. As far as I'm aware of all 26650's are re-wraps so you really have no way of knowing what's under the wrapper. If you like them, that's cool. I was replying to the guy saying he was getting better results using an 18650. IMO you always will.

It's a fact 26650's have a higher internal resistance and a bigger voltage sag under load. As you mentioned, you can build higher ohm coils to mitigate that. I never said no one should buy a 26650 mod. I was just saying why I haven't (That includes ones with an Evolv chip - I wasn't dumping on any specific brand).

I put it on one of my Wrecker G2's yesterday and cranked it over 100 watts in XXX mode and wow, that was an experience Went through half the tank in a couple of hours then drank a gallon of water

It has a 19.8mm deck, built claptons on a 3.5mm post. I heard you have to build big so you will have enough cotton for the juice wells. Would have been nice if it had Aromamizer style wicking but aside from that I really like it.

If the FDA BS ever gets resolved they should come out with a Slice V2. Move the 510 to on top of the battery like the VT75, I would so get one.

The triple 18650 that Hohm also mentioned sounds killer too. I hope they put the 510 in a great spot to take big tanks.

The Modfather does have the Aromamizer style wicking if I remember correctly, I would like it if the Dumptank had the same thing.

The Dumptank is super airy which I like, The Boreas full open is about the same as the Dumptank half way closed.

There built with Kenthal A1 26 I am not sure on the AWG anyways ohm reads 0.31 So what temp and settings do I set the Slice to? I tried Wattage and even at 101w its not hot enough so maybe temp will do it. i did manage to get it into some weird temp mode and it maxes out at 370 Celsius. Just dont want to Vape fumes. scratch that battery was half dead. 80w is enough warm vape to make me cough so i want to do some TEMP stuff....Now i do have coming in Coil master, some SS 316L 26G to make my own coils!

With kanthal coils start with the FSK set to about 2.5 or 3% in xxx mode and work your way up from there. The temp and power just set to were you normally like it. The FSK % will dictate for the most part how hot or cool the vape is, want it hotter turn it FSK up, cooler turn it down. When adjusting FSK just go about 10% and try it.
There is no hard and fast rule with FSK, it is just user preference. With time you will dial it in with the quickness.

Swapped out them Clapton coils for plain old kenthal 0.8ohm coils. Now the slice really shines! Was taking too long to hear up the Clapton coils especially in duo mode.

So I learned to take my cotton sheets. Peel apart stretch and roll up with air. Put in and fluff. Works out good for me.

Yea! That's what I got the LE to have that 3amp charge option. But the only output charger I have is 2amp so technically it will charge at 2amp.
