Doing it yourself in the UK

Right guys, the builds are getting lower and the juice usage is on the rise, rapidly. I am pretty sure i'm not going to get this right the first time, but, I've decide it's time to at least try and mix up my own liquids. I want to know if there is anything specific that i need to be looking out for when buying my VG and PG liquids? I'm looking around the 75-85% VG mark dependent on what my concentrate are made up of. Concentrates? Who makes the best? I really want to be sure i'm getting what i'm paying for. My current regular juice is Kanzi by Twelve Monkeys so I am hoping to end up with something really really juicy, I like really rich strawberry and kiwi flavors but i'm open to other sweet fruits such as apples, berry's etc I've always added flavor shots when i can because i like my flavors strong. I also want to make sure what i buy is able to produce some respectable, if not massive clouds, nothing amuses me more than the wife's voice sounding from across the room complaining that she can't see the TV! :) Any help, advice and guidance will be greatly appreciated! Nick

I've heard chefsvapour makes decent liquids in the UK, solubarome on that website do some pretty cheap bottle of concentrate, but yet still good quality.

Chefsvapour also do everything you need to start, VG & PG. it's just up to your to get the recipe right and blow them clouds ;)

Higher vg and low ohm builds are great for tv blinding, scares the shit out of my girlfriend when I'm driving.

First of all, avoid test tubes, syringes, etc. Just get some empty plastic 15 and 30 mil bottles, a scale that goes to 0.01grams, and a notebook, or something similar for flavor notes. It will save you a lot of time, cleanup and costs. All of this stuff I just get on Amazon.

Vg pg and nic.
You can get these at a lot of different sites. I'm not sure if the all deliver to the uk but I prefer liquid barn. Nic should be in pg, not vg or it's almost too thick to work with. Be careful when working with nic, if your using higher than 50mg nic I recommend putting a small amount in a bottle and cutting it with pg until it's 50mg when your first starting incase of spill.

Flavorings
I recommend looking at alltheflavors, eliquidrecipes, diyejuice subreddit, and in here, look for high rated recipes and find something you might like, then order those flavors. Reddit also has a list of must haves in the sidebar. And just look around, some of just the single flavors are amazing recipes. I also order from bullcityvapor, the prices are good and they have ratings on flavors, but I'm not sure if they ship international.

Also store all liquids, including nic in a cool place, and keep the nic covered from direct sunlight.

You have a lot of options, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. That's why we're here.

Don't feel bad. That's one I forget, myself. I was doing something the other day, picked up a bottle of something and started shaking it, then laughed. I wasn't mixing juice.
That.. Sounds like dementia.

Hi Nick...I vape similar to what you seem to want....85 to 98 vg at 0.05 ohms on 6 coil builds with "in your face" flavour and huge clouds...
I avoid all unnecessary pg...so I only use nic in vg...
Here in the uk the only concentrate I buy from a vape source is Red Astaire by T juice(direct from them online)after I'd bought a 30ml bottle ready mixed from my local vape shop and loved it...but it cost me £13...so for £16 I now make 200ml the diy way with their actual concentrate...they recommend mixing it at 15% and its spot on.
My other concentrates are NEVER from vape sources..I buy super concentrates direct from food and beverage flavour manufacturers(I use less concentrate this way plus it's cheaper in the first place...so it's a win win situation)
If you haven't already ordered your supplies here is where I get mine....
2 litres vg(pharmaceutical grade)...harryharvey.com £10.79 plus shipping or on ebay £9.99 with free shipping(he sells it on ebay cheaper for some reason)
100ml 72mg nic in vg..diamond mist from vapeinc.com £9.99 free shipping
T Juice concentrates are £9.99 for 30ml plus shipping from T-juice.com
My basic concentrates for mixing together to make a unique flavour are from somethingsmellsgood on ebay 30ml for £2.89 free shipping ( or I buy 200ml for £10.49)
For slightly more exotic concentrates I go to worldflavoursonline...online or ebay again... under £3 for 30ml free shipping

As for test batches I make 100ml each time and shake the shit out of it for a few minutes in a 330ml bottle...high vg is a pain to mix if you only make 10ml in tiny 10 or 15ml bottles and it never vapes the same as my 100ml batch...and with the super concentrates I never need to go above 5%..so it's less than £2 wasted if it's crap (which so far I've been lucky not to get an unvapeable juice)

I don't use scales(I use measuring tubes and syringes)but if you go that route then be wary that vg is 15% heavier than pg so 100ml of vg will weigh 115 grammes which means if you make 100g of juice it wont be 100ml so your concentrate percentage will be higher than what you think...
here's a pic of some basic items that I use...

I know it's long winded but I hope it helps...
And yup its a babies bottle to measure my vg in...2 graduated bottles for a quid (poundland) lol

If you like Kanzi you should try this mix!! It's my adv for a few months now. If you let it steep for 2 weeks it's spot on!
