Anywhere up to 100 dollars think would be the max or the wife might kill me. But I do plan on selling my old setup to make up the difference so shouldn't cause to many waves.

Eleaf gets an A+ for super simple and very reliable.

Those picos (by Eleaf) are neat looking - really need to get one :)

My first regulated mod was an Istick 50W by Eleaf - and it has taken a serious licking and keeps on ticking.

I got the 50 because of the built-in bat - but ended up with several istick 60W that take 18650 bats. I have one of the 200W but haven't used it yet.

The Pico is a neat little thing, it's also an easy one to use. I'm not crazy about the threading for the battery, or that the adjustment buttons are on the bottom, but it IS a neat little device.

Pico (left - comes in a few colors) Evic VTC mini (also comes in a few colors) The Pico is a great stealth mod.

Does the Evic have a replaceable battery not hot on the all in one devices rather just get a new batter then replace the mod when the battery doesn't charge anymore.

Both the Pico and the VTC mini take rechargeable batteries that you supply. See that line down the right edge of the white one? That's where you put the battery. Each of them take one 18650 battery. I'm more of a low wattage vaper. My builds are usually around the 1.2 - 1.5 ohm range. They last me AT LEAST a full day before I need to replace the battery. I keep plenty of charged spares around. These devices will last a long time. With an internal battery device, over time, they last a shorter amount of time, until they eventually become a paperweight, LOL.

I would recommend a Hohmtech Hohmwrecker G2 then. There are some great deals right now. Amazing chip. TC any type of wire!

I'm not very savvy with termonoly when it comes to vaping but what is the difference with the ohm?

The ohms are the resistance of the coil. Subohming (resistance below 1 ohm) is typically warmer, can produce more vapor, and is usually for direct to lung inhaling, though some do mouth to lung those. Some, LOL. Most mouth to lung vapers are above 1 ohm.

i paid roughly 85 for the mod and tank, but I'm selling it in the hardware thread for 40 with some extras. I have too many mods and tanks right now and just ordered another one today lol.

high ohm = low wattage and a mouth to lung vape (like smoking)
low ohm = high wattage and a direct to lung vapor (aka huge clouds)

Agreed, I would recommend getting something with a DNA, FSK, or Yihi chip as an upgrade. Tbh, every other board is just second rate IMO. There are some killer sales going on right now on all the mods with the boards I mentioned.

DNA - VT133, VT75, SMY 75,

YIHI - IPV5, IPV6X, IPV400, IPV D3.

FSK - G2, Slice.

Vapecrawler.com is your friend. It's a good tool that helps you find the best price on the above mentioned mods. Good luck.

My 2 top picks would be Kangertech subox mini starter or kangertech topbox mini starter. Subox is 50w & topbox 75w plus can be used in tc mode with ti, ss, ni settings also comes with a topfill tank. They both use removable 18650 batteries & include an rba deck that is super simple to use. I have used many mods & tanks but always go back to my subox mini.

Been using a 50W Kbox Mini mod for 11 months now as my main mod.
Other that a couple of scratches, still looks and works like new.
The Subtank Mini and Toptank Mini are both great tanks as well. Use either RBA deck or factory coils.

I also have a VTC Mini but prefer using the Kbox Mini.

lol I've been using my kbox mini for 11 mos too, the mini rba plus imho is a much better vaping experience than using the stock coils. Plus a heck of a lot cheaper! I also have sigelei 75w & 150w box mods, pico with melo 3 mini & my griffin rta's (i don't like griffin rta, but i have 2 of em) just keep coming back to my kbox.

Yep liked mine so much I picked up a couple more for a bit over $20 each early this year. And then got a 75w version a couple of months ago too.

Just work fine all the time and comfortable to use.

I also have about 6 other regulated mods but just keep on using the Kbox mini.
And I only Use the V2 variety of the Subtank MIni. I only use RBA's in them.
A 2.5 MM 26 ga .6-.7 ohm SS coil is nice in them at 20-22 watts.
I have enough STM's and parts to do me for a decade. I have mostly been using the same STM for the past 11 months as well.
Only problem so far is I broke the glass once. Have about 30 spares though. And 10 poly bellcaps too.

For a new mod purchase under $100 right now, I'd go with the Hohmwrecker G2 as well. I see you can get them for around $70.

Ecig.com has a 20% Labor Day sale. You can get them for like $58. At that price its a no brainer.

A decent tank and a set of batteries puts you over $75 to qualify for free shipping.
