Vaporesso ccell coils

Hey guys first time posting and just wasn't sure where to post.

So i see there are other people like me who had a hit or miss with these coils on these forums, and for some all the solutions given just didn't work.

Just had to get it off my chest that with my personal experience the 0.9 ohm kanthal coil was amazing. Primed it in less than 20 minutes, no leaking, no dry or burned hits, and amazing flavor for under 30 wattage.

So i thought to go ahead and get the 0.5 ohm SS coils. Biggest mistake on my part, maybe it was the bias towards the whole sub ohm and thinking 0.9 is too high. But priming is a pain in the ass, leaks like a mother, after 24 hours the flavor is still meh and my throat gets dry hits non stop.

So going to stay away from the 0.5 and just keep enjoying the 0.9. My advice is if you enjoy the 0.9 dont bother with 0.5, you will be let down.

I used 70% VG.

I was so excited too thinking if .9 is giving me such great flavor and clouds the .5 would be insane.

I've seen where folks claim the .6 is better for high vg for some reason.

I got a 50/50 i guess i can give it a go.

But the problem is i tried from 50-90% VG on the 0.9 and had no problems. Amazing flavor and clouds.

I love the flavor from the .9 when they work.
The problem is it is a crap shoot.
You either get 4 good coils and 1 bad one in a pack or you get 4 bad ones and 1 good one.
You never know.
When they are bad they just taste burnt no matter what you do.
The QC department slept through the entire manufacturing process on these evidently.
I still use them and have about 10 more packs to go.
I'm hoping that when I run out and order more, the new ones won't be this way.
I'd heard they had a few bad batches.
If I would have ordered all mine form one place at the same time I would have accepted this as the answer.
However they were ordered form 3 vendors in 2 different countries at different times.
So my conclusion is ......... I'm not giving up on them. haha
When tanks that use that coil come up in my rotation I really enjoy the flavor.
Although I'm partially considering removing those tanks from my rotation simply because I like a more airy draw.
But I could keep them for the "lighter" days.

Have you tried cermaic coils from other brands?

The only other one I have tried so far is the Krixus by Horizontech.
It is worthless.
Simply my opinion though.
Come to think of it, the only other tank I haven't liked is the IPV Pure X2.

Found something else that works for me concerning dry hits, that i never seen mentioned.

Besides taking a few prime hits here and there, close the airways to less than half and take the first few hits with the fire button that way and build up to a completely open airway. Works really great when you get those random dry hits and need a quick fix. This is also my strategy now when the mod is colder and hasnt been touched for a while or my first hits of the day, i dont mess with the wattage but rather the airway.
