Hohm wrecker g2 batteries?

Samsung 25R's are great batteries. I also like the 30Q's. It depends on how hard you are going to be pushing the mod. The 30Q''s are rated as 15 amp CDR by Samsung but tested to be 20 amp CDR by Mooch (Samsung is conservative with their ratings). The 25R's are rated at 20 amps CDR by Samsung but can be run at 25 amps without heating up to much. Here's a link to the top 5 18650's for vaping - it's a very good article imo:

I have two 25r but there on there last leg. Are the new green wrapped 25r ok? All I have is blue ones, which I don't see a lot of.

People (here) would love to share their experience and it will be much more easy to suggest you which batteries are good for you if you share your build, watts, temperature etc configuration? Thanks

Current build on the g2 is and will stay this way for a bit, 316L 0.20ohm dual coil, TC mode 200° Celsius.

It looks like my Panasonic green batteries are working better then the 25rs but the 25s have been used a lot on high amp flashlight builds. So I can't so for sure which battery works best but for me the Panasonic NCR has been the bees knees compared to samsung. But 25r run much cooler then the pannies.

The green 25R's are just the newer version, they are fine. The Panny's however are not a great idea. I don't doubt they run hotter, you may be pushing them past their limits, they are a low amp battery. It's likely time to retire your old blue 25R's. The Panny's at 3400 mAh will likely outlast per charge, for now, but if you are pushing them past their limits and running them hot you are likely damaging them internally and shortening their overall life. You give the build and temp but not the wattage set and wattage and the voltage remaining in the batts are what determines the amp draw. Get some new batteries and leave the Panny's for flashlights.

Some of my lights run st 15+amp draw direct drive (fire starters) 5000lm
So I'm just going to trash the pannies.
What about the hohmtech 18650 is that a upgrade vs 25r?

Wattage 50+ watts on the g2

There are fake Sammy's out there (and LG and Sony etc.). The bay is not a trusted source really, there's only one vendor on there I've seen listed as trusted, GenuineCells. With the shop it should be one you know well and trust. Off the top of my head, liionwholesale.com, imrbatteries.com, illumn.com, rtdvapor.com.
Not much of a deal if you get fakes.

The 30Q are good solid 20A (tested) batts. They'd be fine for your needs. The HG2 as well, I have 6. When the time comes I'll give the 30Q's a go unless something better comes out before.

Good choice, I source all my batteries from Liion Wholesale or IMR Batteries. They can be trusted and they both work / support Mooch.

Amazon and eBay you really can't trust 90% of the sources there, high chance of getting fakes.

Personally i like illumn.com because they are in san jose and I'm in san diego so i get them really fast. OP is also in California IIRC. Unfortunately i just checked and they are out of stock in both the 30q and HG2 so my 2nd recommendation would be liionwholesale.com they are on the forums here as well if you have questions

I have been using the 30Qs with the G2 and its been flawless. Betteries stay cool even after a few tank fulls on a Tsunami RDA chain vaping at 95w+
I should have purchased 4 30qs

This is correct. Only 2 places I order my batteries from. I'm just too damn pretty to mess around with battery safety to save a few cents. Lmao

I haven't kept track really but if I had to guesstimate I'd say about 6 hours? That's vaping every 20 minutes chain vaping filling up tsunami 24 running it till It gets dry than stopping..... I'm recharging my 30q now and heading to Los Angeles to do some errands. I'll keep track of time with the charged batteries, and get back to you.

I can get about 5-6 hours of very heavy vaping. I'd say i can suck about 15-20ml of juice through 1 charge

Thanks guys was thinking how many batteries I should take with me which will last whole day ( I think 2 30Q and 2 LG HG2 Brown will be enough) as never used these I mostly 35-40w or 420F 0.20 to 0.50 ohms (I am also planing to go visit LA as well) Thanks for sharing. @CashNVape I will wait for your comments once you will be back from LA

OK so my report with the g2 and 30q got home about 5 hrs later and still had enough battery life to throw on my dripper tank and keep on chucken. The 30Qs are a beast of a battery. Will be buying more for my single 18650 mod.
