Hi there guys.

You see i have some problem on my Griffin. I get some leak coming out between the airhole switch and the base. I think its little loose.

Any suggestion to fix this?

Makes my rta sticky and dirty. Also wastage of good juice.image.jpegimage.jpeg

I wick mine a little differently. I bring my wicks down just below the ring but not to the bottom of the juice well. Works for me.

Your o ring looks busted in one of the pics but I figure that's just a photo glitch since you would have checked that.

Actually the o ring in my atomizer photo was busted. But i already changed that o ring.

I was wondering if any of you guys also have a little loose airholes switch like moving up and down.

Have your griffin leak before? Like how it does leak? Was it the same as mine, leaking tru the gaps between the base and airhole switch?

My airflow ring doesn't shift up and down.

I was dealing with some leakage when I switched from my 22 to my 25. I got some improvement when I stuffed the channels with more cotton than I normally would and just used sharp tweezers to poke down on the corner of the channels closest to the posts to prevent the channels from choking.

I dont want to think that the problem is on the airhole ring because that would be difficult to fix. Ill try different wicking and coils later hope that would work.

My Griffin was annoying that way. I tried everything and my air adjust was tight so that does not matter. One time for kicks I got a clone replacement base that unfortunately had a very loose air control, but at least it did not leak.
There is a theory that there is an o-ring inside the press fit base where you can't take things apart. It stresses as the flow control is rotated. I think I saw this on a video of a guy trying to take it apart. Once that non replaceable o-ring wears or is not manufactured just right, it will leak.
The clone base eventually started to leak a little so I gave up and got a Billow V2. The Billow is bone dry, no leaking or sticky hands for months so far and I can replace any o-ring inside it if needed. Lay it down, upside down, sloppy wicking, still no leak. A little less room on the deck (2.5mm id dia coils max) but I'm much happier.

I saw a post where they succesfully disassemble the base. But it needs some mechanical items needed that i dont have. Ive tried placing new coils and wick different style. As per now i have a little leak but much better than the previous. I also replace most o ring including the oring on the glass. Now i can deal with it somehow.
