I got the new model of batery Cool Fire IV... I tried the differente voltage.. and I burn my lips :S.

Maybe I was vaping too strong and too hard... but I will not try that again. :S

To be honest I dont understand why this ecig has a voltage between 2w and 8 w... because I was trying the number 3.5w and I burned my lips.

Has that ever happened to you?

I will wait for your answers.

Thanks!! :)

are you talking volts or watts?
Also what kind of tank/coil are you using?

the .2 coil or .4 coil in it?

also with the clieto, make sure to put the top rubber thing on the top cap (comes with 4 colors) as it'll get hot on your lips without it

Some types of mouth burns are indeed pretty common with vaping, especially when just starting. Over at the other forum, someone PIFed me a bunch of different items to try out, when I first started, one of which was a low-resistance carto -- very old tech now -- and an aluminum driptip. The lower the resistance, the higher the heat, and metal heats SO easily -- I had a blister on my lip before I knew what was happening!

What is "burning" you lips?
the clieto gets super hot if you chain vape. especially the .2 coil at 60-70 watts. It comes with 4 rubber mouth protector things. you are suppsoed to put them over the top cap, If you don't you can almost burn your lips when they touch the top

see the 4 color rubber pieces with a hole in the middle (black, red, yellow, blue) not the vape bands (black and orange) If you don't use them your lips touch the top of the tank and it's hot

keep in mind, some devices - including the coolfire IV - will allow you to adjust watts and/or voltage - and watts and voltage are related via Ohm's Law - if you adjust one, the other changes as well

i tend to adjust wattage while using the voltage number as a guide - i generally find my sweet spot between 3.2 and 4.2 volts (depending on the coil resistance and the specific juice) - and the wattage will vary depending on the coil resistance (.5 ohms at 24.5 watts = 3.5 volts... .2 ohms at 61 watts also equals 3.5 volts)

that being said, what is the ohm reading on the coil you are using?

as someone else mentioned, best practice is to start lower on wattage and work your way up to find your 'sweet spot' - i would start around 35-40 watts and work up - if you are getting some 'spitting' from the coil (juice spitting up into mouthpiece), raise the wattage so that it is being vaporized - go up in 2-4 watt increments and test vape

remember, the key to this is figuring out what works for you :)

the cleito is a very decent tank - there are a couple of folks out there making custom drip tips for the cleito as well that fit over the nub on top

Oh my god, I am lost!!! hahah I dont even know wich coil I am using... :S I will find out.. I am beginner on this :S
keep in mind, we all started in the same place - cut yourself some slack, you'll get it sorted out :) you're on the right track

it is easy to get information overload at first - please ask all the questions you want - there are no 'dumb' ones - and we have all asked 'em at some point

Umm, I wasn't asking how someone might burn their lip, I was asking the OP how she did... was it the top cap....the drip tip....the hot vapor coming out of it

I think the Cleito's coil is just too close to the mouth for low res/ high watts.
I put the 0.4 ohm coil in mine, pulled the stock tip off and pushed a long narrow tip in (tried both plastic and stainless), used the silicone rings..still.. the first hit is always okay.. the second and third is too hot.
That, plus Im a MTL and its too hard to get a nice tight MTL hit on it , made me finally give up on the Cleito..it sits here collecting dust now.
