Need suggestions for single coil RTA

If you heading towards the serpent, make sure to get the 25mm. It comes with 2 build decks, a single and a dual.
The merlin RTA I have been using for about 2 months now and it's stunning, I love this RTA. I haven't tried the serpent mini 25mm but from I heard it's really good.

I have both, and use them a lot. The Serpent Mini resides on my Pico, and the Merlin on the H-Priv.
However, I feel like you might have overlooked a couple other nice RTAs... The full-size Serpent, the Bachelor and Bachelor Nano are also quite good.

I have both, the Merlin has a bigger juice capacity & more airflow imho. 
So it depends on your wants & needs. My Serpent Mini 22mm goes out most times cos it's small. I don't use it at home, would be refilling a lot.

Merlin mini is about to be released if you like a shorter profile.
Also take a look at the goblin mini v3.
I'm grabbing a merlin mini when they have it available in black and probably the goblin3 too. Goblin may be first just because they are releasing SS and black at the same time... sooner or later, I hate release delays

Have two Merlins and one Serpent Mini. Mini sitting on the bench. IMHO it is a bit more touchy to wick and it can be tricky to 'trap' the coil to the binding posts. And I prefer greater fluid capacity. That said I can see why the Serpent would be preferred by many. Great build quality and very portable.

Love the Serpent Mini so far! Vape Wild had them on sale for 15 bucks last weekend so I picked one up and I am glad that I did.
I've had the Serpent Mini 25 for about a week and a half now and absolutely love it. Flavor is great. It has a nice low profile. It holds over 4ml of juice I believe but also does not rip through juice too fast with just a single clapton coil. It comes with a single deck like the 22 and also a dual coil velocity deck that I have not tried yet. I bought it for the purpose of having a single coil RTA so the second deck was just a bonus to me. I'm loving the single coil performance so much I may never try out the dual coil deck but who knows.
I agree, I have actually started ordering more single coil RTA's because they seem better for flavor than my double coil builds.
You are doing something wrong then.
I get TONS of flavor from single coil decks/RTAs. I haven't been a huge fan of the Serpent Mini, but am more interested in the 25mm, maybe. The Merlin does have incredible flavor and its easy to build on, I just never had the best luck with mine. Definitely interested in the Goblin Mini v3, as the v1 has been my favorite tank since I got it. I hear really good things about the Cthulhu v3, too, but man, that's a big honkin tank at 26mm. Would be a great excuse for me to buy a new mod, though.
Yeah I wasn't a huge fan of my Serpent mini until I rebuilt & rewicked, it's performing a lot better now but @ only 2 ml I only use it when out & about & want something smaller. Been thinking about the Serpent mini 25mm @ 4 ml that's a pretty decent capacity.
