Vapor Flask 133 DNA200 Dual 18650 by VS

When I got home from work yesterday I had a nice surprise waiting for me. The Vapor Flask I ordered during VS Labor Day sale last weekend had arrived. I've only been using it since last night but so far I'm very happy with it.

It feels great in the hand (ergonomic), is light weigh (6061 Aluminum), and looks good imo. I really like having the top mounted screen (my first). I've also heard they have great CS.
Here are the measurements: 91.50mm x 62.60mm x 22.50mm. I weighed it on an analog food scale I have and with two Samsung 30Q's (no tank) it came out to 220 grams. My VT133 with the same batteries (no tank) is 274 grams (Zinc Alloy).
*Note It's just approximate weights since it's not a digital scale.

It came configured from VS. Mod resistance, case thermals, profiles for Kanthal, Ni200, SS316L and a few different ones for Ti01 (I had to add the SS430 TC curve though). I'm using it in TC with SS430 so far and it's working great. Not much left to say other than so far I'm very impressed. Here's a few quick pictures I took last night. I'll try and get some better pictures up later today.

It came in a Black Bubble Mailer enclosed in a hard plastic cylinder container. It was different and made me say this is nice as soon as I saw it

Very nice. I'm enjoying mine too. Love the shape alot, fits in the hand and pocket nicely. It conforms to your leg when in your pocket. I would love it even more if bigger attys fit with no overhang. But it is what it is and I have plenty of 22mm attys for it. Overall very happy with both my vs dna133s. And there cs is top notch. Already had to deal with them on a issue with my first dna133 from them. They are a pleasure to deal with.

By the way I'm using the newest firmware and version of Escribe. I think for the file to work correctly you will have to make sure you are too.

This version improves a lot of the basics of EScribe. Here is a list of improvements, by no means complete:
- Most windows are no longer modal.
- In Options, User Interface allows you to choose a desired complexity.
- This version is more modular. Device Monitor, Calculator, Production Utility, and Serial Terminal are now all optional install and can run separately.
- Other changes.

Device Monitor has been improved as well:
- You do not have to start EScribe to launch Device Monitor. It can be launched independently from the Start menu.
- You can run multiple copies of Device Monitor, and uploading/downloading settings will pause it.
- You can scroll back in time.

This version can communicate with DNA 60, 60 Small Screen, 75, 200, and 250.

VS is putting out a DNA75 called The SwitchBox. It's on their site now if anyone is interested.

That is interesting on the DNA75. They didn't have it out by 8/8 so I wonder if they plan on staying in business long term? I hope so. I expect a continuous flow of new products from non US based companies but am surprised a large US based company like VS is introducing new products after 8/8. Maybe them just be rebels

PS-Steve, Thanks for the VF133 Config. I received mine last Friday and didn't do much with it because I knew your profile would be 99% of what I wanted and am just generally lazy! Now I have it rocking thanks to your config. Pretty sweet mod, IMO.

I'm not sure if they perhaps sold one before the 8th to make it all ok. It's possible that it could be for International sale. I really don't have much information on it at this point. Just basically the picture that said coming soon.

I've never had that on any of my DNA mods. Where did you see it, on the screen of the mod or Escribe itself?

It could mean that it either needs warranty service because it's out of calibration or that maybe you were using a bad or damaged USB cord since it only happened when it was plugged in. I did a little research on Evolv's Early Adopters Forum.

The one thing I noticed is my VS VF's USB connector is recessed further into the mod than my other DNA200 mods are. The regular cord I use to connect my other DNA mods to my PC wouldn't p[lug into the jack. I use the USB cord that came with the VS VF when connecting the VF to the PC. You could try that or just contact VS and talk to them about the message ((855) 827-3669). Good Luck!

I was talking to a mod maker at a local B&M and he and a lot of other mfg's really worked hard to get products made prior to 8-8. They then sold 1 of each to a distributor or B&M and put the receipt on file and plan on rolling them out slowly, maybe 1 per month. He told me a lot of mfg's have a lot of new product that was done this way so they can continue feeding our frenzy for a while with new stuff legally.
