Help me pick flavorings? Realistic fruit, must-have custards and creams...

I'm looking for the favorite creamsand, desserts, cofees, and custards of everyone.

Specifically, fruits that taste like fruit, and not candy
Creams, custards that are potent and useful in a wide variety of mixes.

Coffee, cocoa flavors that are rich, without being bitter. I want strong flavor, but that remain palatable at higher percentages.

Good caramel/butterscotch flavors.

Any suggestions?

Capella Sweet Cream
TFA DX Bavarian Cream
TFA Vanilla Swirl

The above are all diketone-free. Mix the last 2 together for a perfect diketone-free custard; add some Sweet Cream to it to make it a bit creamier.

The best fruit flavor I've tasted is in my ADV, which has been my ADV since December 2014: Inawera Shisha Strawberry. Tastes just like real ripe strawberries dusted with sugar. This flavor, combined with the 3 above, IS my ADV.

Also, good sources? I'm prepared to spend about $50, as long as it means being able to not buy anything at the b&m near me- one i liked, was convenient and had good flavors... Until I heard the employee say "oh, battery amps don't matter in a regulated mod. That's why we only carry one battery model."

Plus their juices are 15-20 a pop... I'm a fiddler, and I cook.. I know ill like mixing so I'm not worried about 'seeing if I like it'. I figure a $50-$70 investment should be able to make me and my gf set for a year, for the price of a couple months of juice shipped, plus may be able to pass a few bottles to my friends for a little recoup.

Is bull city vapor a good priced option? Do they have good nic and base?

Edit...didn't read far enough lol. Yes they have great customer service and have lots of options. You can order VG and PG there but its a little pricey. And they don't have Nic. You can order from nicotineriver.com- they have all that.

No comparison whatsoever. The TFA strawberry smells great, and has zero taste. INW shisha strawberry ACTUALLY TASTES like strawberries.

I get all my Inawera flavors from e-aromashop.com; best prices anywhere, and the shipping is reasonable. $5-someodd registered airmail takes about 10 days; $10-someodd takes about 5 days.

You may find that later on down the road that it is more economical to shop different places. I have used ecigexpress and they are alright. I have no complaints whatsoever, its only a matter of preference. I believe they have free shipping after $59.99. ....I also forgot to mention Nicotine River is also cheaper with bigger quantity bottles on some named brands such as Flavour Art or FA. But... they don't carry INW, which is slowly becoming a favorite of mine. And they have superior nicotine IMO. I find that being as frugal as I am that once you catch your "flavor fever" *lol* that one shop will not do. Good luck in your hunt

I use both ECX and BCF but it's hard most times to find everything I want at one place.
Usually they will be oos on 1 or more flavors.
I just make a running flavorlist.txt on my desktop and check off the ones I order and keep the missing ones on the "next time" list.
Or if it's several I look to the other place to see if they have them in stock.

Many recipes are mixing for example 5-7% TFA Strawberry Ripe + 4% CAP Sweet Strawberry.
And many ppl have commented on not being able to taste Strawberries in general, just suspect these flavors may have something to do with it.
Especially in high VG mixes I think.

I get a better/stronger Strawberry taste from the INW Shisha at only 2%.
Peach, Mango, Shisha Vanilla, etc. are the same way

By comparison 4% Strawberry Ripe, in certain recipes, will only add sweetness and barely taste any Strawberry.

Yes... if you plan to mix small batches for testing out new recipes, be sure you get some 1ml syringes; they measure to .xx of a milliliter. 3ml syringes are good for measuring .x of a milliliter. 10ml syringes will either measure .2 or .5 of a milliliter, depending on how they're marked.

Wizlabs has good prices on 1ml luer lock syringes. I get all my others on Amazon, but can't find 1ml luer locks except on wizlabs.

I dunno what cc's are. I use ml syringes. But you will never need 30ml syringes for flavors! I use either 1ml or 3ml syringes for flavors.

Think cc is the same as ml...

Using a 1ml glass syringe for NIC, (found on ebay).
Was using for flavors too, before switching to a cheapo scale.
Didn't wanna melt the rubber plunger on the plastic ones, some flavors like Banana Ripe will eat them.

Think I got a 12ml syringe from Tractor Supply that I use for PG/VG.
Some of the stores also sell 1 gal USP PG.

I really don't care for it as a stand alone, that is, that I haven't found it yet anyway. I'd say 3% is a good starting point if that is what you have in mind. This strawberry is fantastic in cream recipes anywhere from from 0.5 and up. It gives it a well rounded strawberry when mixed with other brands.

i made a mix with it and 2 other strawberrys plus banana, cream, and malted mlik. I mixed the shisha at almost 2%. Haven't tried it yet though cause it's steeping though. was just curious. Thanks!

cc stands for cubic centimeter which is an older version of measuring liquid. It has changed to millimeter within the last 10 years. The conversion is now "law" in medical world. I was in nursing school when the conversion happened and it was a big drastic change for doctors and nurses alike, it took a good while for everyone to be onboard.

It is much easier to mix flavors with 1 and 3 ml. Some of the stronger concentrated flavorings you will need to have to measure in smaller increments.

I really don't have the first clue about metric measurements; I've gotten somewhat accustomed to ml's and mm's thx to vaping, but it's still a hard conversion for me -- when I first started DIYing, I put a conversion chart on the wall to make it easy to refer to, so that now I know that 15ml is about a half-ounce, and 30ml is about an ounce. But it's taken me 2 yrs just to acquire that very-limited understanding. It does make sense to use ml's for ejuice, since a ml is such a small quantity, and syringes with .xx and .x markings make it much easier to measure with precision.

Yep, after looking it up to check, 1mm = 1cc.

Molinberry glamour chocolate -- only chocolate flavor I can actually taste. I have some weird blockage on that particular flavor in ejuice/vapor; Molinberry's is the only one that actually gets thru it.

I'd start around 1% if experimenting just because some need more and some need less.
This is a good example below of creative use of those 2 Chocolates, and it's quite good IMO.

Cookie has some AP in it witch helps sweeten the Chocolates
Coconut adds some buttery coconut
And Meringue helps for sweetness & body
For some odd reason the Chocolates seem to work better together rather than separately I think.
Tempted to try a little FA Marshmallow in this but haven't messed with it yet.
Haven't made this one in quite some time now, may have to revisit.

I don't care for heat steeping so I just put it away for 3 days.
BTW those Chocolates have to be shaken real well before mixing.
And they will burn and taste like crap when using higher watts so YMMV.
FA Cocoa is the one that has sediment settled to the bottom so I suspect that's why it's harder on coils.

I just saw 1 ml luer locks at Nicotene River today for .45 each. Blunt tip needles are also .45 each. I'm not sure if that's a great price or not, but it's another option if WL happens to be out of stock for some reason.

That IS a great price; they start at .75/each at wizlabs, and only drop to .69 if you buy 10 or more. So thx, I may be getting my 1ml luer locks at nicotine river from now on! Unless I'm already ordering something else from wizlabs, as I often do.
