Simple setup on the RX. Works well in TC. Went straight to my Merlin with a 316L SS build from the Triade. Set up the RX for it, and it's a nice vape. Little differences to get used to other than the menus. Seems on the RX with this build 430F is close to the 450F I was using on the Triade. I'm just using the SS settings, haven't gotten into the TCR settings stuff yet, but it's close enough to be good for use as is. I'll feel a lot better running around with this as a multi-battery out and about mod than the others. Should probably look into getting a sleeve for it. Eh, probably look for a wrap to dress it up instead.
I'm happy I went with it. Seems solid for the price with a tight battery door and no door or button rattle. Nice screen too.

having to go up or down in temp on different devices seems to be pretty common.
Mine too! I have lived dangerously though and went up to 50W with a Crown tank or a Wismec Theorem.
I had one of those, when I flooded it went under water and hasnt worked since

I vaped high watts many times but for the last 4 or 5 months I been sticking around 35 to 50 watts. The Merlins with a Clapton coil vaped at around 35 watts is an awesome vape and the super tanks vape great around 50 watts.

You lung hit, so you enjoy a restricted lung hit, same as Emmy, you can't be turned to the darkside and I wouldn't want to try and change that style of vaping, I used to enjoy it myself but with these Alien coils, 30mm RDTA's, anything too restricted becomes too hot..

Because of cloudz or nic?I did a quad coil build in a mutation X RDA once and vaped it at 200 watts. The flavor was out of this world but after 5 or 6 good hits off it I couldnt see the TV across the room anymore

Yeah you can't mess with that style of vaping at all...You could however try a Boreas, close the airflow down some, really nice vape..

It's fun to play with the other big air tanks like the Limitless or Boreas, but the Merlin is such a nice place to settle back with. Besides, i like being able to see my monitor screens at least some of the time.

I likely will be a Tootle Puffer / Mod Womper for life. The highest I have gone so far is 32W and that's because I was using a TC mod and that's what it told me it was using to maintain 400 degrees. Otherwise, I am 20W or lower.
The notch coil in my Theorem is 0.3. I run that one on 480*. I absolutely love that tank. The flavor is awesome! SS Claptons are great, what would you put them in ?
Funny thing for me now is on almost every tank, I leave the air flow really open. It's not that I want more cloud, it's that I just don't enjoy that sucking through a straw feeling. I like the easy flow of more air, even on a higher ohm build.
Probably the Boreas or the Crius. They'll need the air flow.

Bit bigger tank, some Alien Claptons, bit more power would force more airflow, Boreas RDTA springs to mind, that would be a tank for you to try I promise
