Never ate goose in my life Andria, I've had duck which is also greasy, it's better when it's crispy shredded duck from the Chinese..I thought Brits ate goose for xmas. I've heard it's real greasy; lamb chops are too, but really good anyway.

First Draco I am just using your post as topic material, but I have to say something about this particular sentiment. And this will be the last time I mention R1 before filing him in the place for other people I dislike under things forgotten.
During my time there I was going through absolute hell no friends (and I mean no friends not oh I just have one or two none, zero, zilch, nada), besides the friends I made online which included many of you. Which is still my situation but I have elevated myself out of self pity and sorrow and have made a point to be a positive force here which I could've done there if given the time to get my shit together.
Freshly divorced, no contact with my step kids, and she took the fucking dog and cat. So during this time I was drinking heavily and would frequently post things I didn't remember and the next day remove them. Now this in no way made the things I said or did right and explained this to Robino, Classy, and Dusty who understood and always cut me a break they even said they told him about the things I said in private messages. Yet it got me no breaks what so ever there and I was just a poster not a moderator.
Once you take on a position of authority all of your personal stuff should not matter one bit only the rules you are meant to enforce, like Eskie said so well. My issues did not matter one bit and I was harassed for it by him, and to see others explain his actions by tough times makes me want to FUCKING VOMIT!!!
The fact of the matter is and I told the other moderators several times he had no earthly business being a moderator and would eventually drive people away. And lo and behold look at what this forum has become a "room" full of people he has forced from a place we all genuinely enjoyed besides his nazi regime he implemented with little or no resistance.
TLDR: Give me a fucking break about feeling sorry for that asshole, if your situation sucks so bad you can't be impartial step the fuck down. Mmmm that felt soooo good!

Absolutely! I was with those boys from the time the youngest was 3 and the oldest was 5. The youngest ones father passed away too early and was a pretty good guy, the older one's wanted nothing to do with him and signed his rights away to avoid child support. I was the one who took them to school every morning, family vacations, band practice, karate, etc. but when she left it all meant nothing. I miss them to death and hope one day when they get their own cars they may show up and we can hang out again.
That sounds good! Haven't ate yet myself had Mexican food for lunch and am still stuffed. But I have a bacon wrapped filet with black eyed peas on deck before The Exorcist comes on TV.

Been there myself. Nasty place to be.I'm glad you made it back. Some people never do. I've been divorced too many times and know what it's like to walk away with nothing. Only saving grace was I never had issues about my daughter. We were both adult about that. Hated needing visitation rights for my freaking dog though. The nature of my work meant I either had to get up, forget all that, and give 100% to my job. And on those days when I knew I couldn't give that 100%, I made sure I had someone else ready to step up who could. I made damn sure I knew if my head was right or not before I started the day because I wasn't going to have anyone else suffer because I wasn't all there from distraction.
Same thing with R1. Things are bad, I do get it. Can you put it out of mind and do the job you volunteered to do (and let's face it, it's a volunteer mod job, not exactly paying the rent or solving real life problems)? Can't do it? That's actually OK, just say so, take a break until you can. I'm not wishing the guy bad. I don't know him or his problems, but the adult thing to do is take responsibility and act accordingly. All I can infer, and that's all I can do as I'm not privy to whatever is behind the curtain, but my money is on the guy just being his natural self. Otherwise, either he or someone around him in a position to do so, would have made him take a step back by now. So I have to figure everyone else is good with his behavior. That's fine. Their forum, their rules. Good luck increasing membership.

This so much this, people only occupy the space in your head you allow them to. It took me almost 38 years to really let that sink in and since I have things have been so much more peaceful.
The dog and cat thing still gets to me at times though because I was the one taking them to the vet for shots, or specialty vets because of life threatening pancreatitis flare ups in the middle of the night, chipped teeth and root canals etc.. And I still get updates on my phone that they haven't even been vaccinated or even given heart worm medicine. They would have been so much better off with Marley and I but they were her animals so what could I do.
I am sorry you, I, or anyone has to go through stuff like that. While I can be volatile at times I am a take it easy, and everyone get along type person and all of that was hard to deal with since it is all confrontation based. I kind of caved and let certain things go to avoid it all.
