That is true. And the take I have on it.
I was just wondering how many realized that macaroni was slang for posh, elegant, etc and not the totally tubular pasta.
A very good overall description. You were the one I was expecting to respond.
Andria surprised me. I had no idea that she was a history buff.

Sooo.............does that mean when I eat macaroni and cheese I'm not being patriotic?:D

I guess I didn't stay up late enough. :) And Andria might not be the only one to surprise you/us. Judging from that personality test stuff Atcha did on the other forum, I'd bet there's a lot of people who know a lot more than they have let on about so far.

That's pretty much what we had for dinner last night, but Lannie made it from 100% American ingredients and she even made the cheese herself from our American cow's milk. :D

You mean real American cheese, and not an American cheese food product?:giggle:

Yeah. We don't ever eat that phony stuff that is sold in stores as if it were cheese. Lannie makes all of ours. I think what went into the noodley thing last night was her famous white cheddar (yes, famous... people come from far away - OK, Nebraska - to get it). :)

I just wish we had a decent Chinese place somewhere around. The one in Sturgis has exactly two things that I like so far. Granted, I haven't tried everything, but of the different things I HAVE had from their place, I only like two of them. Those two are pretty good, though, and I could fill up on 'em. ;)

We have 2 here. One is a takeout only place, the other has both takeout and dine-in. I actually prefer the take out place because the food is better and more consistent. The food at the eat in place will be good one day and awful the next. The cooks there all need to follow the same recipe. :)

OMG what the heck was that supposed to be??????
My grip sucks! I have arthritis in my hands and where I work is making it worse in a hurry! Sucks getting old!
That is does darlin. Gitting old aint fa sissies. :tantrum:
I have 4 Serpents now (full size) and I love them because they're infinitely adjustable. I can adjust the airflow (I like it all the way open most of the time), and if I want to sit and chain-vape, I can adjust the juice flow separately. I have really bad hands, but I don't have any trouble with the juice flow adjustment. I can close it down a bit for the occasional vape or open it up further if I'm chain vaping. I never get a burned taste off those tanks, ever.
Maybe I should get one.

Though it doesn't appear to be quite true, you actual have a couple really cool days coming up. Here's your forecast as far out as TWC will show it.

We have every kind of food imaginable here with Fort Hood. People from all over the world. Thai food, German food, Cuban food, Korean, Japanese, Italian, Greek and the list goes on and on. And it's all the real deal.
Now that would be funny as hell if y'all were related and all this time didn't know it!! :giggle:
Yea it would!

And here's a handful of the nuts I'll be with tonight as I make a fool of myself. And yes, I've made a fool of myself with them many times in the past. Ummm, yeah, ignore the guy in the background trying to walk like an Egyptian while the ladies sang "Walk Like an Egyptian"

After I threw the ex asshole that I lived with out I found a bottle of expensive white wine that he had bought to share with his girlfriend. That night, after he'd gotten all of his crap off my property, I popped the cork on that bottle, sat in the chair with a really good comedy and drank the whole bottle! Straight from the bottle! I woke up the next morning feeling wonderful with only a slight hangover! Then I arranged for a friend of his to deliver the empty bottle to him with a note that said thanks! :)

ROFLMAO! You know, Reign, you're alright! ;)

Thanks Lannie! You're pretty swell yourself.

Oh Kadly.

Yea I had TOO much wine. And I'm paying for it today.:eek::oops: lol

No hangover here, but I woke up in all my clothes from yesterday like wtf!?!

Reign, I'm serious. You are just like me and my bizarre family! I do have cousins in Houston. Maybe we are related! Here's a pic of my nutty nephew stroking a baby alligator. hehehehe
View attachment 62336

When I was a kid about 9 years old I was fishing off the pier at my Gandparent's ranch and felt something tugging so I reeled it in. Well it wasn't a fish but a baby alligator and he wasn't hooked just hanging on to my bait. So I gave him the rest of the bait and proceeded to put him in a small garbage can with a little water. For the rest of the day I played with and fed him raw bacon before setting him free that evening. The next day he was near the pier hanging out so I fed him a little more that day, and had to leave that afternoon to get back into town for school. Since then I have had an extreme admiration for them such cool creatures.

And the people in the pics don't look familiar lol, our family is extremely small and I am sure I would remember them. :D
