parallel or series?
i have a few parallel mods that are pretty sweet but my collection of series just keeps growing and growing.
pretty huge difference in how they perform.
have you any experience is mechanical mods?

Personally wouldn't have gone series off the bat but some nice head room with 26650 batteries but please make sure you fully understand ohm's law when it comes to building series coils. Also make sure you have a nice big dripper or RTA for it because your coils are going to be a bit big

i just tried my regulated mod (rx200) at 235 watts with a twisted messes dripper and any hit i take longer than a second it tastes extremely burnt. i have a 24 gauge 7 wrap build ohming out to .32 ohms 3mm wrap...what am i doing wrong? yes i have 30 amp cells...can you just not go that high with a regulated device?

vaping at 235 watts is what you are doing wrong. try like 50-60 watts

i was doing a test some people are saying they vape .3 ohm coils in a series box which comes out to about 235 watts which i cant figure out how their doing it without massive burnt hits i normally vape this build at around 90-120 watts

it really depends on your build. the people doing that know exactly how they need to build. But to be honest unless you are competing in a cloud competition it's pointless.

i know i could hit that with a clapton build however this is almost the exact build that someone told me they use on their series mech mod only with 1 extra wrap im just curious as to what their doing differently

If you want to tame it, build coils with a lot of mass. And that extra wrap would put you at a safer ohm that what you're doing. Start off with a .6 build and tweak it as you see fit

I won't build below 0.5 on a series Mod. My usual build is between 0.7-0.9.

do you know how to build? do you have an ohm reader?
thats a killer first mech, a lot of power, can be bad if not careful.
i find mini fused claptons (28g and higher) to be best for series, for me anyway. 8 to 10 wraps dual coil depending on material used around a 3mm bit.
thats my go to, anyway.
dont let yourself try to drift into trying to copy what you see, a lot of people with a lot of experience like to take chances because they know exactly what theyre doing, the risk theyre taking and what to look out for when things start going south.
either way, enjoy your vape, be safe and good luck. if any questions a lot of dudes here know a lot of stuff and could help you resolve most issues you may run into.
out of curiosity, dont know if its been mentioned, which 26650 cells did you buy and from where?

how many ohms do those 28 gauge fused claptons come out to?

depends, i use 316l ss so resistance is low. i get around .35-.4 with 10 wraps.
with nichrom80 i can get away with less but i prefer vaping ss.
