Help new to making own juice !!

If anyone has some decent videos/ tutorials on how to get started that would be legit, I read that kits aren't necessary , any information is great links to websites that I should buy from I found liquid barn for materials, but any other sites for materials would be great, I'm from PA with the new regulations in place thanks!

I'm not new to vaping. just new to making my own juice I been buying juice online , but with new tax increase I wanna switch to making my own.

Bull city vapor gets good reviews, nicotine river has good reviews for their nic. I have absolutely no complaints with Hiliq nicotine. It's smooth.

I reccomended finding a recipe that you think you'll like, and getting the supplies to make it (ratger than geting dozens of flavors and experimenting)

I use 15 ml bottles to make "testers" of new recipes, 60 & 120 ml bottles for proven recipes.
You'll also want a syringe to up to 1 ml & another for up to 3-4 ml, (unless you plan on mixing by weight, then you'll need a scale).
Add your flavors, VG, PG (if you use it, I don't), nicotine & don't forget to have rubber gloves & eye protection for when working with the nic.
This should be enough to make you fairly dangerous (lol) & able to get started, although I'm probably forgetting several other things.

Okay I been looking around I found some good websites while waiting for replies like ecigexpress I like a lot.
now if a flavor has a a PG percentage do I need to take that into consideration when mixing or does that PG based flavor not matter or do I need to only use VG flavors ? if my target is for max VG

The best way is to download a good calculator. I use the e-juice me up one. http://ejuice.breaktru.com/
If I was making 200 ml of a 2-flavor recipe (like cherry cola), I would be adding 8 ml of Black Cherry, 16 ml of cola, 160 ml of VG & 25 ml of nicotine. the nic can be tricky because it is available in several strengths. My calculator says to use 25 ml because I have 24 mg nic. It is suspended in 50% VG & 50% PG. The flavors are also suspended in PG. With this recipe I would end up at 80-81% VG/19-20% PG in the final mix. Your calculator will help with all that. You just have to tell it what kind of nic you're using.

You really don't wanna make 200ml of juice as it's a lot to dump down the sink if its crappy tasting.
Only make 10ml batches to start, far less waste, and your probably gonna have some "do overs".
Course you probably already knew that...

How much flavoring to use isn't so simple, flavors and brands vary greatly and can range anywhere from 0.5% to 15%.
And a lot depends on your own taste perception too.

If you read around here and look at some recipes you will find some of the typical amounts used.
But no guarantee you will like them at that same amount, just mostly to use for starting points as you may need to adjust to your taste.

I vape at 3 nic and when we use calc we type in max VG, but the calc is telling us to add PG , but I didn't buy any and if I remember correctly it has been telling us to add like 13m of PG for a 30 mil target lvl of juice so were not making a full 30mil after adding everything the juice flavor comes out fine and taste good , it's just not 30 mil after we add everything and I don't really wanna add PG , but Idk how to compensate for that 13 mil PG. What do I add instead?
