Straightening the legs would help you install it.
I'm going to be honest here as I have 3 limitless'. You really need a good amount of surface area and mass to make them shine. 10 wraps of 22 would be a minimum for me.
The whole building thing is really simple on a regulated device. Especially using round wire on a velocity deck.
Wrap your desired ammount of material around a rod and install.
The hard parts and most important are firing out the hot spots and wicking.
Wicking with cotton would be a pita on the Limitless. I personally can't stand a tank that dribbles on it's side. I use rayon so this might be wrong but you need maybe 3/4" of wick sticking out on either side of the coil, fluff it till it's poofy and just sit it on top of the hole. Cotton doesn't wick very fast so I'd keep it as short as possible and avoid stuffing the hole too tight.
When I started building I had no tutorials, cotton balls and some old kanthal. After noticing that the wire heated unevenly, I figured out that you needed to heat the coil and squeeze it and scrape on it to make it heat evenly.
Alot of what to do will just come to you as you go. After a few builds you'll have it down.
