Are my LG HG2's fake?

Recently came across the BatteryBro.com LG HG2 Comparison and Mooch's Lionwholesale LG HG2 Testing, and noticed I might have a fake set of LG HG2's.

The Left Battery was purchased from a local store, which is part of a set of 3 I think might be fake. Right Battery was purchased via Illumn.com. The battery on the left and its set does seem to look exactly like Battery #3 in Mooch's Lionwholesale Test, which is the only reason I'm even considering they're real. If anymore pictures would be helpful, please let me know.

lg has 4 prongs on the positive so looks genuine and the writing on the left battery means it shipped by air

The insulator isn't matte though like the battery on the right, that's the main difference that according to BatteryBros, is an indication of a fake battery.

Not sure regarding authenticity but I can say buying your batteries from liion wholesale will give you piece of mind. They might not match a lot of the deals online but it's well worth it to know you are getting what you paid for.

fakes are re-wraps not manufactured clones. so to expensive for someone to create 4 prong clone
much easier to re-wrap a trustfire etc

Is there anyway to confirm it's not an LG HG2 without removing the wrapping? I want to bring them back to the vapeshop I got them from, but I'm not sure if I can confirm it without removing the wrapping.

From the picture, the left one looks to have a much shinier insulator which means it's probably fake. But it's very hard to tell by pictures. Compare the white insulator ring in bright light, how reflective it looks. If you can tell a difference then it's almost certainly fake. If you can't tell a difference, then the only way to know is testing but it's at least somewhat unlikely to be fake.

I wouldn't say it's shiny, but it's certainly not matte like the illumn.com set I own. I'm going to bring them back to the shop I got them from, hopefully they exchange if they even have authentic batteries on hand

I have the exact same thing going on and now I know why some get the silver sticker.
