26650 4.2v and 0.68ohm

If I have this right 4.1v / .68ohms gives me 6amp draw off a 26650 battery?
The battery is a hohmtech grown battery which I believe is 30amp Continuous discharge and a 50 amp pulse rate. So I could lower the coil resistance a lot? Honestly it doesn't hit very hard, probably because I'm used to vaping at 90+ watts at 0.15-0.25 ohms. The mod used is a chi you megan clone, shitty battery contacts so I bet voltage drop is more like 3.6v

You should consider the batteries rated voltage which is 3.7v so the vape that set up will consistently give is 3.7 / .68 = around 5.5 amps so 5.5 x 3.7 is around 20Watts .....which won't be very exciting. 0.3 ...oh yes apples.....0.3 apples will give you around 45W which will be ok life of battery wise on a 26650 and can be a decent vape with the right build. 0.3 ohms should be usable.

The battery nominal voltage is 3.7V but the max voltage is 4.2V that's why we use 4.2V for the calculations as the worst case scenario (even though you won't ever get actual 4.2V due to voltage drop).

With a 0.19 build it should bring it to 93W with a full battery and without calculating voltage drop and just just below the max amps for your battery.

Yeah I tried a dual coil with 0.19ohms and hits harder, a lot harder and my preferred vape just hope that's safe?

the hohmgrown is a 23 amp battery so at full charge the lowest you can build to is .19 so you are safe but at the max limit. Don't build any lower

Thats why i stopped suing mechs and went to regulated personally. regulated you build how you want then adjust for your vape. with mechs you have to build to your vape and can't adjust. also your vape gets weaker and weaker with every hit

Yeah but it's fun, it's a joy to have boxes to adjust ur vape but sometimes it's nice to just drop in a single battery and vape that shit! No screens to play with and add extra amp draw, wires breaking etc

nope stingray broke and panzer i gave away. I don't have any working mech mods anymore. they either broke or i gave them away. I'm over mechs lol

So that would qualify as 'very hot' for me, I wouldn't much fancy that like I said, is it worth the risk when you can get a decent vape much lower in wattage - not for me. It's a metal tube after all so it is going to all get hot plus it has a atomiser on one end which will accelerate the heat up, but if you are just taking a hit now and then I am sure it wouldn't be an issue. 26650 has an advantage in mAH but not in power they tend to heat up easier than 18650s do when used to deliver a large current. Maybe they just hold the heat longer I don't know but I don't find a 26650 great for high power vaping but is good for a long battery life at medium power.

This refers to the battery's internal temp and not what you feel on your hand, 80C is totally acceptable for a battery running within it's CDR.
