Problem with X Cube

Well this caught me off guard been using this device for sometime and it's my all day device.
I seen people with the same issues i started to recently experience such as Ohms to High as well as Do Not Abuse Protection. However it all began when i decided to update the firmware the night before, was basically sick during the morning so didn't touch my device until after lunch and notice my Tsunami RDA showing me this weird Do not abuse protection error however with a 5sec rest i can fire as normal and vape. Got a little annoying after some time so i thought to myself well seems like my jaggernauth coils must be to junked i'll clean her up later. Pop in my Griffin 25 mini fire it up and then notice half way during fire the coils stopped but on the mod it showed i was still going so after sucking in cool dry air i was stumble. Fire it up again and constantly the mod kept asking if this is a new coil and the resistance kept going up high until i get a Ohms to High error. (Please note i did a fresh build last night to double check 6wraps spaced no i ain't touching deck/wall), Kinda sad since i only got the Griffin 25 Mini this week :(

Honestly i seen many people say clean the 510 pin or try and open and see if any juice leaked in, trust me i had a x cube before and i know about the juice issue so this new one i put tape all over to prevent it from getting damaged looks ugly but it kept my device dry. So my only biggest issue is can i downgrade the latest firmware? Or is there some trick you guys learn that I'm yet to read.

You can MANUALLY adjust the resistance in the settings.
No, that is NOT a fix, just a simple test to see if it reverts back to erroring out again afterwards.
You CAN downgrade the firmware if desired, or simply overwrite current with same new version.
+1 for re-installing firmware.
I've had this happen on a few mods, try removing the tank/RTA/RDA/RDTA/or whatever ya have on it, pushing in the 510 pin on the bottom of it firmly.
Maybe by gently tapping it on a table or something.
Sounds odd and SHOULDN'T be required however each time I have tried it, it has worked.
Naturally my first test is to use the settings to power the device down, remove the batteries, then re-insert batteries and power up.
If none of this helps, pretend you didn't read it and I won't tell anyone.

OMG kudos to you both, Found a old hex file loaded it up and boom tsunami is steady as ever. NOOOOOBBBBBBISH user error for the griffin 25 mini :X the 510 pin was slack guess i never tighten it since i got it. Glad you got it working:)
Also you would have been really pissed when you got a cubiod and/or rx cause those seem to have more issues then any other mods on the market lol

In the event you ever DO get impatient enough to go buy a replacement or just want another mod, let me suggest a few;
HohmTech HohmWrecker G2
SMOK Alien
SMOK H-Priv
SMOK almost anything that has came out in the last 7 months.
If your X Cube isn't the Ultra, try that one too.
If you have the Ultra, the only real difference to the H-Priv is;
1. No Blue Tooth or green or yellow
2. No LEDs
3. Fire bar pivots from the bottom instead of being an entire floating bar.
4. No OTA updates (due to #1)
In the event you have the previous model of the X Cube.......I can't tell you the differences because the first and second X Cube just didn't hit the spot for me so I never purchased them.

But happy to know you got is worked out.

I second the G2 and Alien from the list
