Do you prefer a 22 or 24mm deck?

I prefer 22mm decks, easier to build on.

If i had to choose between either 22mm or 24mm i would go for 24mm whitout a doubt

24 mm is the smallest for me since most of the mods I own are big. I tried those 22mm like the old school veritas type RDA and I did not enjoy it. The 22mm felt challenging for me to build big coils on since it will be loaded and jam packed with lots of cotton if I use big coils.

I like both but to me all my best flavor atomizers are 24-25 mm (Tsunami 24, pharaoh(25), boreas(25), TFV8 (25)
the 22mm velocity v2 and aeronaut still kick some ass in the flavor department though as does the 22mm clieto tank.

For me, large capacity is taking precedence over size of deck. I'm retiring my Mages and Serpent Mini. Out with the little people and in with the Boreas, Merlins, and Billow 2.5. I don't like filing. And quite honestly I don't like building. I just like vaporized e liquid. :cloud::cloud::cloud::cloud:

The decks aren't 22/24mm, unless you are using a 26-30mm atty

I like both depends on what I'm using it for I have a few 22 mm drippers the deck is large enough when I'm using 20-24 gauge wire 4 - 6 wrap, on the 24s I use the fused claptons or framed coils although I have a 22mm soi sub zero mod with a
Dual 24 gauge n80 core with a 34 gauge n80 outer wrap 2.5 mm 5 wrap 0.11 ohm for flavor and clouds best of both imho all my Kennedy RDA's are 24mm.

OK I should have been more specific!
I ment overall size of your rda. for me it's a challenge building a coil and making it all fit in a 22mm rda and still having room for cotton. 24mm is nice too but it over hangs everything I own.
either one works for me but prefer the 22>24mm

i got ya, I`ve even stopped buying 22mm mods and everytime I say that I`m good and don`t need any more mods I see something else that looks good, overall I`ve done pretty good on not buying everything that I like but now i want a rda for every build type only wire that`s getting a rest is ni200

It seems as though most of the atty's I choose tend to be 22mm, which is a good thing as most of my mods require it. I have a few mods that can handle larger, but I always seem to come back to 22's.
On a side note, one of my all time favorite RDA's is the 19mm Igo-W with the air holes drilled out. That small chamber combined with simple stainless micros has some awesome flavor!

We have similar vape styles and I need a new rda. X1 seems your favorite. Only RDA I use is a velocity. I have a tsunami and I don't like it at all. Seems so airy and not much flavor. Have you tried the Goon?

Guess it depends on the size of your builds.
For those big ass coils a 24/25 RDA would be preferable.

I mostly use a Goon (24) and a Kennedy24.

I'm with r055co, depends on the deck. The 3 I've tried so far are the ehpro bachelor, kayfun v4 (clone) and v5 (clone). All are 22mm atomizers but the easiest to me is the bachelor since it's postless. No posts and the design of it allows for a longer coil (one side to the other). The hex grub screws are easier to manage with the allen wrench.

The v4/v5 of the kayfuns share the same size diameter but the posts take up some room and the hold down screws on the v5 (I think that's the one) are larger than the v4. Either that or the other way around, one set of screws are tiny the others are microscopic. Makes it a bit of a pain in the ass by comparison to the postless.

Just my impression anyway, they're still far easier to build on than trying to mickey mouse rebuilding the coils in non serviceable stuff like clearo premade coils/wicks. A velocity deck might be easier, the trouble I run into with the decks on the kayfuns are keeping the coils straight while clamping down the leads with one lead facing one direction and the other lead 180 degrees opposite it makes the coil want to twist sideways until it's tightened up. A non issue when both leads are facing the same direction. They always take nice macro photos zoomed in and make the decks look nice and roomy, then you get it in your fat booger pickers and it's like seriously?
