i got a personal recipe im using and the flavor is good to me. my only problem is it doesn't have this heavy feeling to it, hard to explain but what im looking for is when you vape it, it gives this heavy feeling to it.

i tried my mix and a premixed ejuice that i bought on a vape store and it really have this difference.

im doing a 70 vp 30pg mix not including the enhancers on the 70/30 ratio.

Do a 10/90 (PG/VG), Max VG.

hi Zamazam,

i get the idea of it having greater vapor production but at the cost of flavor. the premix ejuice im testing have a 70/30 ratio on its label :(

Sometimes 0.5% ethyl maltol can "body" up a vape, a cream, like FA Fresh Cream can also do that. Neither would really change the flavor, really, not at low percentages.

Could also be the diactyl, or other baddies that create that heaviness.
Or like Squonk said, different brands.

0.25%-0.5% Meringue. Will add a touch of butter and froth feel, but will taste "heavy" Stay on the low end to avoid the butter taste.
thanks lotus! thats the word im missing..that frothy mouth feel. i made a raspberry and cream mix and it feels light just tried adding 5drops of meringue on a 10ml 70/30mix still is light

The diactyl is sometimes used in certain flavors but many have been changed and use other "baddies" now.
Most are considered to be bad for inhalation tho.
And many just use tiny amounts so it may be not quite as bad as some say but you never really know for sure.
Those built in "additives" sometimes have the effect of making e-liquids taste better, or fuller.
Lots of the vendors pre-mixes have used questionable flavors containing the "baddies" in the past but...
The new FDA regs are putting a stop to this practice I believe.
However you can still buy flavors containing "baddies" because they're classified as "food flavorings".
You will notice Bull City has warnings on their flavors, and some other sellers do also.

Lorann's Cream Cheese Icing... keep the % low though... like under 2% in any type of custard, cream or cheesecake juice

I usually think Lorann's sucks for diy, but I've found Cream Cheese Icing and Butter Rum to be quite useful.
