What, no mash taters?I made a couple of stock pots of stew for the dogs tonight, filling their bowls now. I'm going to have a chopped steak with mushroom/onion gravy and grilled veggies with a Dogfish Head 90 Minute.
We have this little hole in the wall, cash only, country diner that makes awesome home cooked fair on the cheap. I had that last week, with smashed taters and fresh corn off the cob. 8oz patty, $7.49.

Had this one dinner in Malvern pa that made the best chipped beef. add a side of sausage and coffee and it was like 12$ after tip. it was a small trailer hidden behind some trees with no sign. I miss that place
I lived in the woods, so we used a rake minimally. We had one of those leaf vacuum/blower/shredder/baggers, that we'd just blow them into a line along the lawn edge, and then shred/mulch them, shooting it out into the woodsy sections of the yard.y

The little family run places are the best.
Idk if it was family run but it was tiny. only about 3 tables and room for 4 guys at the counter. 3 people worked. the cook a waitress and someone else.

More than I really expected, all the rain here made them grow like crazy, I have been doing research on the net for other veggies to plant next year, I have been looking at different varieties of potatoes. I like the designer taters, purple, red, yellow, even black.You had quite the crop this year!!!
Probably got up to the mid 60's today. It's 56*F right now.
