Hey all. Haven't posted for a hot minute, just been lurking, but felt the need to rejoice a bit. Been jonesing to get a stabilized wood mod for the longest, but price and availability have always been an issue. However, recently picked up an Axis m17 mini, and an Asmodus Silvanusa. (395 and 229 respectively) While not cheap, they are awesome looking, and both are to me very well built mods. And you can get your wood without being part of some asshat Facebook page, or having to win the lottery to afford one. They might not be as pretentious as some mods, but you can just go run your CC up a bit and get one sent right out. I personally love mine. I also just got a Duo Abalone, had to pay full retail(200), so I'm gonna be vaping lovely and eating cup o soup for the foreseeable future.

That's a nice price point for a lot of vapers to get a nice looking mod. I kinda prefer a name brand chip, but for that price, you really can't go wrong. I'm just glad that now a lot more people can get these type of mods now without having to jump through hoops. May be wood will be the 2017 trend.

It's using a DNA 75 chip. Hard to see how much better a chip they could find. The chip alone is ~$55. Makes it almost a gimme if that price is legit.

Edit: I see you spotted the board after another look.:D

I found where Vapingbest.com shows 11/10, but I also found a british forum where people have had this mod pre-ordered and keep having the shipping pushed back for over two months now. Apparently Kanger keeps delaying the actual release.

A vape shop friend was recently in China for some vape liquid buying trip or whatever and was telling me today that he saw stabilized wood blocks going for as little as 18 bucks a piece, and said they were amazing looking. Can't help but think if they are hocking blocks like they are going g out of style that there might be some new wood on the horizon. In the mean time, the Asmodus ones are very nice for the money I think.
