Positive post screw backed out with the adjustable pin. Can't seem to get the tube that it goes inside off to reattach, any advice?

I don't want to scratch it taking off that center tube lol. I can make it work. Just wasn't sure it there was a trick I'm missing

Got the post reattached by just screwing the 510 pin into the other part of the pin that holds the post. But something is fucked with it. Has a resistance of 0.03 with no coils... guess I gotta buy another one):
