Mixing head in the clouds max vg

Hi,
I was wondering if the flavour difference would be much when mixing some head in the clouds recipes. I like flavour but also clouds. The recipes I have are 95% flavour art which is at a low percentage.

I understand that the concentrates need to be diluted to accurately mix smaller quantities, would it be over the top to dilute with vg? What about using vg nic?

I am a noob so please forgive my ignorance. Flavour is my priority but clouds are fun.

I'm in the same boat regarding flavor and clouds. I usually mix at 80 to 90 VG, preferably at 90 VG. I have mixed several of HIC's recipes. You should know, flavor is subjective. Therefore, on occasion, I had to make minor adjustments to the original recipe. However, most of the recipes didn't need any adjustments at all. Once you get more experience with the flavors you are utilizing, it won't take a lot of effort, in order to make those adjustments, if needed.
I utilize 100% Nicotine base in VG, due to the fact, that I mix above 80 VG. Therefore, if you don't plan on going above 80 VG, you can use 100% PG base as well.
BTW, I utilize http://e-liquid-recipes.com/create, in order to calculate my recipes. I prefer using it, due to the ability of having access to my recipes, or flavor stash, on any internet available device. Once you have entered your flavor stash, you can do two kind of searches for recipes as well. There are other features, but it would take too much to explain.

I'd keep that to only the base, for dilution, not with nic, but that's just me. And, yes, you can use VG for doing that, though the flavoring itself is in a PG base, more times than not. (FA is PG) You don't have to make a dilution for mixing small quantities, but yes, it can make it a bit easier to work with.

BTW, HeadInClouds vapes high VG, too. As Neunerball said, you can always tweak the flavorings to your own preference. Rarely, do I need to adjust the flavorings any higher, or lower, but it has happened on occasion.

For some recipes for 60 ml it is as low as 0.05ml, wpuld that be hard to measure?

For 60ml, it'd be pretty easy to do, if measuring by weight. Roughly 1-2 drops. This is probably one of those times where the dilution you mentioned could come in handy, especially if mixing by volume, lol.

This is the one I have.
Horizon Ds-19 Digital Pocket Scale, Precision Jewelry Scale, 500g By 0.01g

I've been using it for maybe 2 years, never had any issues with it. It does have auto shut-off, some don't care for that.

I'm using the same scale. The only minor problem is that you have to get to 0.03g, before it actually displays the weight. However, that seems to be an issue with other scales as well. As a work around, some weight can be used, e. g. a coin prior to measuring.

Coincidentally, 0.03g was what my calculator showed to measure the 0.05% he was looking for, LOL!

I have mixed several of HIC's recipes, all at max VG (no PG). I have found that I needed to increase most of the flavor percentages by double (and in some cases triple) to suit my taste.
That being said, I still have several of HIC's that I count among my favorites.

You should start with the percentages in the recipe, then up the flavors if they don't suit your tastes.

When I first started vaping I loved really strong flavors. The taste buds are so screwed up from smoking it takes a couple months to regain the taste buds back. Now I mix at the flavor percentages given, and some times less flavor.
