First time ribbon

Hi

Been regular coil building for a little while, decided it's time to do some experimenting. Flattened 20 gauge ( by hand ) and i'm fairly pleased with the result, ok it's not the most adventurous build but go easy on me, it's a learning curve ! coming in at around 0.24. Question , does anybody else have problems getting the individual coils touching as they keep springing apart when I try to pinch when they are glowing . I never have this problem with regular 20 gauge. Built on Sub Zero Comp Mech mod plus Sub Zero 24mm RDA.

Looks good man. Never built ribbon but I could imagine it wouldn't want to come together. It's a lot of wire tension when you try to pinch them together. I feel like you'd love a pancake wick with this build. But besides that it looks great buddy!

Thanks man, I will give that wick a go. I assume it will be easy to find a demo somewhere

Agree, would fill in the gaps nicely, perhaps alongside a thinner gauge, 22 ?

Yea try either 22 or 24g or something depends on the resistance ur aiming for.
