Making corn chowder from scratch for dinner. Six ears, 3 sweet, 3 yellow, hold a ear upright in a bowl, use a sharp knife at a angle and cut corn into bowl. Take half of corn and put in blender, put all corn into pot, add low sodium chicken stock and diced potatoes. Inside tip, grab stripped cobs, stand upright in a bowl and run the back edge of a knife down the cob and milk out all the juice and flavor and put liquid in pot. Bring to boil, turn down to medium, simmer a hour or so, salt/pepper to taste. Enjoy with small salad and hot bread.
