Well, what a long, strange, trip this has been....

Been very happy with the RBA decks for the SMOK TFV8 & Cleitos. The original and the 120. So why is it I can't settle for great ?

Just received an OBS Engine and the first build was a fail, spitting juice. Probably not enough cotton in the juice ports ??

and thanks to another member I just ordered a Modfather!

Take pictures of how it's wicked. did you prime the wicks? Most likely wasn't enough cotton tho

Thanks, I did prime the wicks, even before I tucked the ends into the ports, I trimmed the ends into Rabbit Ears based on another comment. I think the biggest issue is I didn't leave them long enough. Just into the ports, not through to the deck below. I will re-wick and give it another go. It really is a well made unit, some pretty slick features so I'm sure it's just part of my learning curve.

Give it a few more tries. Check out the obs engine thread as well. Heard good things about it. We all had to learn.

That did it, went a bit thicker with the cotton, blunt cut, and through the ports, just to the deck.
No Spitting, seems to wick just fine. Nice and flavorful, every bit as good as the TFV8 RBA I've been using with the same juice, only complaint really is the tip gets a bit hot.

Will play with other drip trips.

This tank has a couple of really cool features.

1. No way in hell will it leak
2. you can remove the coil deck without draining the tank, so re-wicking every couple of days will be a breeze.
