Can I not go 0.6 ohms on my Tugboat V2.5?

Ive been experimenting with builds and ive been liking the 0.6ohms on my Goon Rda with my Tugboat V2.5 but it gets warm quickly so I stopped. Is this not something I can handle on my mod and if so, what do I look for in a mech mod to safely allow that to be run?

You can go low on your Tugboat, .15 as long as you have the mod to handle it. for a Mech Mod, that is determined by your batteries CDR (Continuous Discharge Rate) For a 20 amp battery, you can go as low as .22. with a Sony VTC4 30 amp battery, you can go to .18

Your atty will get hot because you will be pumping a lot of watts through it. That's part of the deal with Mech's. I'd look at an RX200 mod. More than enough power, plus it's regulated.

Just for clarification your saying the goon rda on your Tugboat v2.5 mod right? If so are you talking about the tugboat tube mech or the box mod?

I'm think the OP meant the tugboat v2.5 mod not rda. Only guessing that cuz they mentioned the goon rda on it.

In that case, the switch needs to be cleaned along with the connection points.

I'm referring to the tub mod. I was told when I bought it I shouldn't be sub ohming on it and I'm not 100% sure when it becomes sub ohming. It just seemed to get super hot after a couple hits and I don't want to risk anything exploding or breaking. I have a fuchai 200w but I'm trying to use my mech more and I'm trying to get the most out of it.

On a side note is the rx200 any better or worse than the fuchai 200w by Sigelei?

Thanks again guys for the awesome feedback!

First off if you don't understand what your doing (and ohms law) then a mech probably isn't the best for you to be messing with right now. .6 ohms is subohming...anything under 1.0 ohms is considered subohm. What battery are you using with it? Depending on what battery it is you could be going over the amp limit. Have you checked your build to make sure there aren't any shorts or anything?

As for the rx200 or the fuchai 200 I've never had a fuchai, but had a buddy that had a smok rx200 that he had for months and had no issues until I g went swimming in the river while he was fishing
