Whistling Dixie - Petri V2

My wife surprised me with one yesterday and so far, its the best RDA I've ever owned. My only gripe is the whistling. I've tried wicking it a couple different ways using more / less cotton and adjusted my coils but its still there. Is this a common issue with the Petri's? I think its related to the air holes, of which I can do nothing about. However, if there is some kind of way to stop or even quite it down a little I'd love to hear it.

Thanks

Sorry bout the whistling.. but your wife rocks!

have had this issue and only thing for me that worked, if adjusting the coils up or down didn't help, was to spin the airflow opening to hit the coils lengthwise (from one end) rather than straight on.. or can try building a bit bigger/smaller diameter etc.

She is wonderful. I'll give that a try when I get home. I'm not very handy and would probably ruin the RDA if I tried to sand and chamfer things.

Thanks

Iv had the Petri v2 for about 10 months and mine whistled when I put first build in it if you put the coils close to the posts it stops I have mine as close to the centre of the deck as I can without them touching the posts plz don't take a file to the airflow holes its not needed you just need to position the coils correctly.hope this helps.
