Just read an article that says vaping causes flatulence? Seriously... now we are going to blame farts on vaping? What happened to just blaming it on the dog?

Please tell me my tax dollars paid for a study to prove this
Hmm, did you mean to say 'didn't pay' Lucy?

It's called sarcasm and irony - yes I meant to say paid
So who here farts more now that they vape????
Oh, I guess that's one of the "blessings" of having a functional nose.

.Omfg! HahahahaMaybe it's true in the beginning, but it eventually............ passes.

I think everyone enjoys a good crop dusting in an elevator or doorway. What's better than seeing the look on people's faces when they walk into it?Wow, blaming vapes for farts.... Well I guess this should embarrass me but it doesn't. I am a Fartist... I love farting, makes my tummy feel better. Now I am not obnoxious about it and courteous to those around me, but come on!!!! Everyone farts... Even my dog and his are hilariously awful!!!
Farting is natural and folks just need to realize that farts do happen even at embarrassing times. Get over it and stop being so juvenile.
*Mutters to self* "blaming everything on your poor dog "

That's a good question. The info they've provided is complete bullshit and lies.So who's behind this abortion of a website besides CA dept. public health? Tobacco lobbyists? They seem happy as hell about the legislation that lumps ecigs in with tobacco products, which obviously benefits big tobacco if the deeming regs hold up.
Amen! I'd buy the stuff.someone here needs to start making us some vaping stickers t shirts etc showing the community that vaping IS NOT FUCKING CIGARETTES OR CIGARS NO TOBACCO!!!!

Sounds like withdrawal, not vaping. lol Everyone is different I guess.
Just about all of those things happened to me within a month of quitting smoking cigarettes cold turkey. I had a hard time of it with the digestive upset (water weight, nausea, and terrible gas) and all my horrible allergies and nosebleeds from childhood are back and more. I smoked more than half my life and unfortunately nicotine replacement (patches) only made things worse when I attempted. I am vaping with low nic cause I relapsed, but the withdrawal from cigs caused me a world of pain mental and physical. I am positive it is something else in tobacco that I withdrawal from and crave.
However, I am glad to find some great flavors, distraction, and even some plain fun with the vaping. The vaping so far hasn't given me much more than a stomachache from the nic, but I get stomachache anyway so who knows? I am positive about this working for me.
WTA - I could never completely quit till I used it in my juice. Haven't had a smoke since January with only occasional, very mild, easy-to-ignore craving.
Alkaloids in tobacco are what are really addicting. Nicotine isn't really any worse than caffein.
Thanks, I really was thinking about it, just don't want to withdrawal again, seems like it might be "too good". lol. I will try this first and keep WTA in mind.
I quit cold turkey this past summer, but had a few drinks and then it was just a Black and Mild cigar here and there(not even really my thing), cigarettes give more of that lovely rush. IDK why). I don't think I will withdrawal from the occasional smoke but it has only been a day since my last puff.
The nice thing about WTA is that you can slowly wean yourself off of it - you can add it to juice or just vape a little straight as needed. Either way, you can wean yourself off of it without the terrible side effects of quitting cold turkey, like you do with smokes.
Thanks for the info. With me and my issues, it might be slow taper as well, so that is why I am wary of it. Ill just try ripping the band-aid for now. I went through the worst of it in the summer cold turkey anyway. Thank goodness I was only smoking pipe tobacco and Black and Milds instead of cigs when I slipped, or I could be so much worse off now. That's true, but I found the withdrawal fairly challenging in any case; took me 15 months of gradual lessening before I could finally get free of it, without revisiting all the old "psychosis" symptoms. I wouldn't say that WTA withdrawal is easy, but it's easier than going cold turkey off cigarettes -- it's POSSIBLE, which is saying a lot, since I would never have been able to stay smoke-free this long without it. You can't "titrate" a burning cigarette.
What's been really helpful for me, since I finally got completely free of WTA, is that if I'm having a really hard time -- when I was so angry at the FDA about 8/8 that I couldn't see straight; when I was so sad and angry about my mother's death back October -- I can add a smidge of WTA to my atty, get a little stability, and not be re-addicted to anything. It doesn't give a "rush" or a high or anything like that, but *does* keep you off that razor's edge of absolute misery. That's a godsend, and I'm glad that I left a little bit in the bottle that I was using from, when I got off it back in March, and that I still have an emergency bottle of it in my freezer.

I am sorry to see you lost your mom recently. I know it is hard but it fades. I lost my mom(lung cancer) and dad (cirrhosis)within a year of eachother a few years back, then my best friend (lung and liver cancer from hepc,( chemo kills) he fought that liver cancer without chemo for 15 years, it was the chemo for the lung) 2 years later. All to illness with me being the care giver. It was rough and the anger is real!. However, it does get better.
I apologize for derailing this thread with my withdrawal story and more...
