I'd say there are quite a few less Idaho anythings generally speaking. ;)

Oh for the days when moisture condensed freely out of the atmosphere... and the Sun Valley bumps were the size of Volkswagens. :D
Pretty much... lol I hate that about Idaho

I know 5 vapers here in Idaho - most are family. I'm new to vaping (5 months and change) and am slowly learning what I like, don't like, how to get the most out of a coil, blah blah blah. I don't socialize much since we moved to the country, but vaping comes up often in conversations. My kids gave me my first vape. I passed the pleasure back down to my grandkids. I have a daughter who screams murder at the sight of cigarettes, but tells me I'm welcome to vape in her house. What else do you want to know?

I receive criticism of my vaping from the same people that criticized my tobacco use. Those people being my spouse and children.

But doesn't really matter because I feel better and don't have to spend more than I did on tobacco.

I had to take a shift at the company booth during the fair this weekend.

I have read a lot of threads in another forum in which people were arguing over the the definition of the average vaper.

I saw three "tootle puffers" with ego style devices (average vaper) and fourteen with higher powered devices producing moderate cloudage at times.

Now, it just may be that I simply didn't see a large number of stealth vapers. But, I think I know which side of the argument is right.

Old fart (54) checking in. Gave up chasing gear.... I was spending more on hardware than I was on stinky sticks, and got hooked on DIY... for the same reason. Kinda sad the DIY crowd isn't supported here (Boise area) since Vapoligy folded shop (and they were minimal; TFA and LorAnn? Really??).

I am so glad a young gentleman took the time to share his vaping experience with me while sitting in a bowling ally bar; he probably put 10-20 years on my personal calendar. I always try to "Buy Idaho" first; even if it is only buying the same China made product. But the local B&Ms have got to get their act together and get their prices more in line with the on-line retailers, and start catering to a broader range of clientele. Perhaps with all this FDA crap we might see more locals offering the individual ingredients to DIY instead of the piss-poor homespun e-liquids.

Anyone informed on the political scene in regards to vaping in the state?

I haven't seen any proposed legislation per vaping. I suspect we'll eventually see sin tax applied but as with cigs, they should not be as high as other states. Idaho still has the reservations to compete with, If the tribes open vape shops.

Welcome! What are you vaping (gear, juice)? Where are you shopping (vape stuff) in the Boise area?

I just picked up a Smok Alien 220w. I bought it at Vape Train my son is friends with the guys who run it.

Montana here, so sort of a neighbor. I feel really lucky not to be living in Utah, where their state government put the Ky-bosh on all online sales there, you're only allowed to buy vape products face to face in vape shops there. I have to buy most of my things online as the selection in the vape shops here is kind of pitiful. Boreas tank...Recoil rda, OBS Crius Plus, Avocado 24, Ohmega Beast tank, or even Kayfuns (took a Kayfun 4 into a vape shop here once, clerk had to ask me what it was!).....never saw any of them here for sale in the shops. Hope you have better selections in Idaho.

I bought this one at a brick and mortar shop because of my son but . It also seams like we have a shop on each corner.

Montana? Good enough for me. :D You have some really beautiful country on the west side of the state.

Yeah, we have plenty of shops. Most of `em selling the same ten pieces and all at full retail. I would like to support our local businesses but it is awful hard to do when I can buy it on line for half (or even less) than the locals are asking. And it is hard to find any of the newer stuff. Kanger and Aspire seem to rule the local market.

My biggest gripe is the total absence of any of the B & Ms offering DIY e-liquid supplies. We had one (one of the first shops to open in town, that did, but they closed their doors about a year ago). I am forced to do all that repeat shopping on line. Seems like there could be a market opportunity that no one is taking advantage of.
