Hi,

Its about time for me to buy some more nic but I also need more concentrates. Hiliq had the e cheapest nic I know of but only has their own brand of concentrates so I was wondering if anybody has any recipes to use with their line because I could not find any.

Thanks

They've just recently started gaining some speed. I've seen a few people mention getting some samples, so hopefully soon we'll have more info :)

I bought lots on their dollar sale... I'll hammer out some recipes when they arrive (my gf wants butter beer, I want caramel custard, lemon berry cream, and lots of others... )

I'm slowly working with the Banana la Crema. Up to 6% and still hasn't popped yet.

Backed down on the Banana la Crema. Much better now. Same with the Vanilla Custard. These flavorings are stronger than what I've read. :)

Blueberry at 1% stand alone is pretty good, and plenty strong enough with only a 3 day steep.
Seems to be a brighter type of BB and slightly different in taste than others I've used.
Maybe closer in taste to FA Bilberry, rather than CAP, FW, or TFA's.
Not sure if I like it better than TFA Blueberry WIld, but it is way stronger so it may be a good helper for other Blueberries.

Maybe you could suggest starting concentrations?

Well at least for the Blueberry I'd start at 1%.
But if you load it up with a bunch of other flavorings it may need to go higher.
Don't think I'd go over 2% tho.

You saying that their blueberry is similar to bilberry is a good thing. I've heard rave reviews of bilberry.

Any suggestions for other flavors?

Should I make a Hiliq Master Thread topic for all this information?

I was planning on starting a HiLIQ flavoring thread. You can if you want to. :)

It's up to you. You have more experience currently, I just ordered about 15 flavors during their dollar sale but it won't be here for a while.

@Vaperyan
Any help here my friend.
They are on holiday for the next week, so we might not hear back from them until after the 10th of October.

13 Tobacco flavors and 2 bottles of nic showed up today from their $1 sale. FedEx said to expect it Thursday so I'm really happy getting this 3 days early. Exceptional packaging from these guys. No spills or issues at all... so far two thumbs up.

I received mine yesterday.

Ive mixed a couple flavors, and I can already tell that Hiliqs recommended percentages are way off. If I remember right, it was
High-12-15%
Med- 6-12%
Low 1-6%

I've made a chocolate caramel cookie (day one, dank overpowering chocolate. Today, creamy chocolate, by with an off flavor...) A butter beer (forgot the root beer/cream soda, so more like a butterscotch milkshake. Too much butterscotch.) And a berry custard (I'm letting it steep, since it tasted awful fresh.)

Ill make straight flavors at 1%, and work up until I find good values.
The sweetener reccomended percentage is accurate (1-3%)
Cooling agent doesn't seem to be. Cant sense a cooling sensation at reccomended 2-3%, but it could be because the butterscotch masks it.

Will mixing up 10ml bottles if my nic base and adding drops until ideal potency is reached work?

How will i convert drops back to ml or % for recording?

Also my only complaint is that in shipping, they didnt declare the nicotine.. they declared everything as VG and harmless.
I feel like that's dangerous for mail carriers.

I'm liking the Vanilla Custard at 3 drops per 10 ml. Took nearly a week for it to calm down.

Would you call it mild, moderate, or intense once settled?

Does it taste like custard to you, or do you get more of a cereal flavor?

The berry flavors I've tried (strawberry, blueberry. mixed berry) seem decent at 4-8 drops per 10ml. They were way intense right after i mixed, but about 32 hours later were good... Probably moderate flavor level at 4, pretty intense at 8 but good. In a mix they might have to be bumped up a little.

I didn't write mine down, to be honest. Was trying to use a web site and it didnt save.

But from memory:
Berries and Cream

(10ml)
6 drops strawberry
3 drops mixed berry
2 drops cream
2 drops evaporated milk
2 drops vanilla ice cream
3 drops sweetner
.5 ml of 72mg pg base nic
8.4 ml vg

I boiled water in the microwave, dropped the sealed bottle in the hot water, then covered with a lid. When the water was cool I shook it again, then ignored it for a day or two.

Its not perfect, but its decent. (I actually like it enough that I'd buy it, so im pretty happy with my first draft.)

Okay so evidently I misread my label. Ive been vaping my blueberry mix, not the strawberry one. The strawberry is untested, but I'll switch to it in a minute.

The good recipe im vaping now is, as far as i know-

Blueberry Streusel ala mode
6 drops blueberry
2 drops mixed berry
4 drops vanilla custard
6 drops vanilla ice cream
1 drop each of cinnamon roll and wafer biscuit

The Tobacco flavors do seem to need the high percentages they recommend. I went from 3 to 5 to 8 and now 10% and they are about right I believe. Needs to steep though so too soon to tell for sure. I'm testing on a dual .2 clapton coil RTA as well so lowered powered devices may need even more flavor.

That cereal note seems to be getting less dominant. Starting to get a smoother creamier mouthfeel. Hopefully in another week it will taste better.

I wish I could steep... Im making 10ml bottles and running low on fluid, and so far my twi mixes are better than my advs, and I don't want to empty my premiums... They're for special occasions..

So ive tried a few from hiliq and didn't have much success and kind of gave up. But this thread has rekindled my interest. So the one i did have success with wss malboro at 8/10% tastes exactly like inferno from the steamery. Does need a couple of weeks steeping though. My first mix was mixed berries at 6%was ok but needed some sweetener added at 1% but just not my cup of tea, seemed to have some kinda funny almost earthy flavor to it. Was vert much on the melon side of things not the berry side of flavor profiles. Next was cola mixed at 6% and 8% both were rotten tasted like old mouldy socks was so disappointed as it smells so good. Have heard of someone liking it at 2% but haven't made another mix yet. Next up was cinnamon roll was mixed at 8% flavor was ok again needed 1% sweetener but again had this funky earthy taste. Haven't made another after i chucked the first. Just about to mix a strawberry and a mango to get a baseline of thier strength and flavor profile was also looking at trying to mix a caramel popcorn :/ . Ive heard the popcorn is very strong the caramel not so much. Will post up in another week or so after they steep and see what they taste like.

Lighten up on your percentages. So far these flavorings are popping at 1%. Try 5 drops with the Cola.
