Ohmega Beast 30mm Tank

Anybody have one? I'm between buying this tank or waiting a little longer for the 30mm Aromamizer tank...
I have 3 30mm tanks. The Calypso- Awesome vape but upright only. At home only. The VCMT 30- out performs anything else I own as far as vapor production. But has leaking/condensation issues. The CCI BFDFT- good flavor, no leaks, but horribly disappointing restrictive airflow. Didn't think that would be an issue from a company that calls themselves Cloud Chasers Inc... hmm...

TL/DR? ...Looking for a Good performing leak free 30mm tank. Undecided between Ohmega Beast and SC 30mm..
Mod father is out of the question. Won't pay $80 and can't ever find in stock anyway...

I have a beast and an ohmega alpha BFT, haven't had a chance to use either yet. The "hot ticket" tank here for 30mm is the modfather. I've used it and it's a great tank. working on a review for it, but can't compare them since I haven't used any of my ohmega ones. Many people swear by the modfather though. I also have a 30mm supreme on pre order but they won't ship for another few weeks

I understand not wanting to pay the price point but it begs the question is it worth spending 30 bucks on a tank you may not like and then not use or spending 70 on one you'd use all the time. really up to you since it's your money. If you want i can throw builds in my Alpha BFT and beast tanks this weekend to compare them to the modfather. but I won't be able to give you an answer between the 3 for a few days. I also have an iron maiden and calypso on the way as well

Definitely let me know about the beast. I'm highly interested in the selectable bottom/side airflow. Not sure how I feel about the deck though. Only 2 holes moonshot style? I could get used to it if it offers the same or better performance as the VCMT without the leaks. Hoping for massive airflow and huge, flavorful clouds.
By the way, you will love the Calypso. Clouds for days. Like 2 hits till the fire alarm clouds. Decent flavor for a 30mm. Build big, try to take up all of that deck space for best flavor. I run 2x26x36 SS fused Clapton in mine at 105 watts. 6wrap x 4mm ID. You will find that it is an upright only tank though. Will leak through the fill holes if tipped. I tried stuffing them with cotton, but then it would vacuum lock and dry hit. Best of luck with it though...

i always build big. got a great deal on the calypso heard good things about it. I do expect the iron maiden to be better though. I agree with the beast deck. would have preferred 2 separate holes on each post but i paid like 20 bucks for it so i can't complain lol I'll throw a build in it this weekend and let you know how it compares to the modfather and if it works well. I have some stapled staggered fused claptons just waiting to be used so seems like a good opportunity.

I may be the minority here but I like it better than the Modfather.
However I like the Ohmega Alpha BFT better than both of them.
The deck is easier to build on.
Thought I'd have an issue with lack of air and juice flow adjustment but no need, the damn thing just works.
All of them are great tanks, I just like the BFT most.

correction, I only have one of the BFT, however I have 3 of the BEAST.
One in each color.

Don't get me wrong, the flavor from the beast is indeed good.
I just like the BFT more.
I started a few threads on the other ones and have my pics for the Beast, not sure why I didn't start that thread as well.

i know. i have mine in boxes. a box for attys a box for mod boxes a box for wire a box for DIY etc and it'll all under my bed and the bench in my room and then i have 1 drawer in my dresser for my mods, batteries and some juice. i just tried organizing it a few days ago and i still feel unorganized.

very nice! can't wait for my ijoy batts to arrive so i can finally enjoy my lux more. they are coming saturday. i got 5 orders coming saturday and 5 coming monday according to USPS

I was late in the 30 mm rta , I really waited for the beast to be priced 20 and under.. got my black for 15.99 the ss for 20 bucks not bad, I'm enjoying these gorillas more Than the calypso, I actually sold my other calypso on eBay....

My current build. FUSED N80 2x26/32 3.5 ID 4/5 wraps ohming @.16 @90 watts using the button af and a little bit of the toP AF.. WOW....
I don't have the modfather great tank btw, but I'm CHEAP!! And the lack of JFC is a con FOR ME not the tank...

You'll have to bring your own beer, the refrigerator in the garage recently died and I haven't replaced it yet.
My Mt. Dew is more important so I can make room in the other refrigerator. lol

I agree, I like both the BFT and the Beast more than the Calypso but I won't be trading anything off or giving anything away.
I'm way too greedy for that.

My beast is currently with .55 Dual SS on the Ijoy LUX 85 Watts or 80 Watts 480° in SS Mode depending on mood.
Alpha One .52 Clapton on the green alien (0.514Ω Triple Catepillar 0.3X3+0.2mm 28+32GA 3mm ID) getting ready to be rewicked.
Alpha BFT dual .15 Fused Clapton Ijoy LUX @ 100 Watts 440° (Fused Clapton Stainless316L 26GAx2-30GAx1)

I do like my Modfather especially with the 20ml expansion tank but I cannot say I like it better than my BFT.
Maybe I'm the odd one but bang for buck, I like the BFT.
If I had it to do all over again I'd still get every one of them but that's cause I have to have it all. lol

Nice pics! I just realized that the build deck is a full 30mm wide... definitely helped me make my mind up... pulling the trigger!!

I just ordered a black Beast from ecig.com they have them for $20
It will be my first 30mm tank so looking forward to trying it out.

30mm tanks look good on the Triade too. A small edge gap due to the beveled 510, but it is centered. No side overhang at all.

The Sigelei Wehe 218 is another option -- the centered 510 is perfect for 30mm tanks. Not what I call an outstanding mod, but decent in wattage mode, and the price is right ($30 at ecig.com).

just ordered this mod as well. so now i have 2 mods to handle 30mm tanks without overhang

Your red doesn't look as bad as the pics on ecig, looks like hot pink or something on there.
I have been using my silver 218 since friday and I still have a face....win.

Like you said for 30 I am good with it. Does sort of seem like "My first mod" you get at toys r us for your kid though. Lol

Nope, it’s definitely pink – the color accuracy on the ecig.com site is better than in my pic. I was hoping for an actual red since my Beast tank is black and my Calypso is gun metal, and was going for the red/black look. Instead, I got the My Little Pony look.

But there’s no overhang with a 30mm topper and the three batteries gives it full-day usage without a swap, so I got my $30 worth.
